I'm a design student doing my Bachelors in Design in Fashion Communication from National Institute of Fashion Technology, Bangalore(India). I'm interested in photography, graphic designing and what I love the most and what I do the most is something really different from what I study, DJing. I have been DJing since I was 14. Earlier was part of The Converters(Me as a DJ and Prateek as a VJ).

Hi, I just have bought a Wifi 5 linksys E5600 router but when i measure internet speed, it's about 100Mbps bandwidth on 5GHz but i registered a 150Mbps bandwidth. So what i should do or must i set something to have the result like in your video. Thanks u can i home receiving your respon soon. Good luck

No. You will need an ONU for connecting this router to fibre connection.

So I have internet access but I cant sign into the router. It gets suck on "please wait" and somtimes when I go back to its a blank page. I've left it on overnight and its the same. I also reset the router but it still happens. Not sure what the issue is. Any ideas?

I'm trying to choose between tplink C6 and this one. C6 has long boot time. But I'm also buying a router UPS. So that's no issue. C6 has app support. This one doesn't. Both are dual band gigabit mimu 1.2 Gbps. This one costs 3600 and C6 costs 2100. A basic WiFi 6 router costs 6k. Not able to make up my mind.

i bought this router to use it on actbroadband. I am facing issues on this router. msftconnecttest webpage open while connecting to the router after setup. Also it disconnects if change the passwords and try reconnect i get no internet connection available.
It's a strange issue you are facing. May be it's got something to do with ISP configuration. I also googled "msftconnecttest" and found that its some kind of suspicious internet browser redirect reported to disperse the website traffic and onward users to third-party websites. Since you have ACT, raise a ticket for router configuration and they should be able to help you.

I have been using linksys router for over 6 years but now I think its time to upgrade to dual band .I have connection of 40Mbps and total 10 devices including iot devices and my usage is for gaming,classes and streaming would this be worth the amount as I am really happy with the life of linksys router which i have. Otherwise I was thinking for Tplink Ac750 archer c20 but I read on amazon there were review where people said that Tplink routers are facing frequent disconnection.Can you tell which one would be more suitable?
As you mentioned and as per my research on the internet, Linksys as a brand is known for it's reliability. Linksys E5600 promises 10+ simultaneous devices being connected to the router as it has MU-MIMO technology. For your 40Mbps connection this will be a great buy and you will be easily able to use it for next 6-7 years.
I hold the tp-link AC1200(Showing slowness) with 150Mbps ACT... Do u think the premium of Rs.1000 over the other brands is worth this? What extras do we get from Linksys.... although I do agree this looks sleek...
As per my experience in tech products, I won't be able to compare the two brands. But as per my research on the internet, Linksys as a brand is known for its reliability. Plus, TP Link is a Chinese brand and it's a big noo for me coz the products are made using cheap labour unethically. The setup (easy browser setup) for this router is very easy and convinient. Anybody without basic tech knowledge can set it up. And No antenna look is amazing and the house doesnt look like a cyber cafe.

Yes, you should. As promised by the brand, E5600, is a dual-band AC1200 Wi-Fi 5 router (802.11ac) that's powered by an 880MHz dual-core processor and capable of delivering speeds of up to 300Mbps on its 2.4GHz network and 866Mbps on its 5GHz network. In your case (for a 400Mbps connection), the 5Ghz will be able to give you that speed, but the range will be limited. But the 2.4Ghz channel with 300Mbps speed and a longer range isn't bad at all.
