The perfect song! I'm new to this Trump Canada joining situation. And honestly I'm not sure what's going on. But it did sound pretty cool as a 50 first state thing.
Thanks for checking out the video. Hope you enjoy the rest of your week. Cheers!
@goldwingmoments you're very welcome. And cheers as well to you.

Thanks Mr. Garry, the ride through Bonavista was pure pleasure for me. Newfoundland was my birthplace and will always remain free with the rest of our great country. God Bless Canada.

I do appreciate you. We also love BC.
Trinity was my favourite place to visit in NFLD, the people and history in that town was priceless, I really really enjoyed the views you captured in your video Larry, just absolutely stunning, thanks for this, it was remarkably nice to see it.
Good evening Connie. Thanks so much for your kind words. This was my first visit to Trinity and it truly is priceless. I wish I could have spent much more time there to enjoy everything it has to offer. A second trip to that area might be planned for the future. Thanks for watching my friend.
Its such a beautiful spot there, been so long since I was around Bonavista and Trinity its so nice to see it live again, such beautiful skies and views, what fine pictures on the shore by the lighthouse, gorgeous spot, bet you framed those one, what great shots, what a great part of your journey, see you again soon
Hey there Connie, I worked today, so I am late to respond to your awesome comment. Both Bonavista and Trinity are spectacular places. Both Mark and I had an amazing time touring around there. I do have lots of pictures saved and I am sure they will be hanging on the wall at some point. I never get tired of the bright coloured houses and the rugged coastline, not to mention the best food in the world. Thanks again for continuing to follow along on my journey. I do appreciate you and look forward to seeing you on your next video. Stay warm and keep your camera rolling. Cheers!
I will indeed send you some pictures. Thanks very much for welcoming me into to the friendly family of Goldwing owners. “You meet the nicest people on a Honda!”
I look forward to seeing the pictures and adding you to the Goldwing family!
I will definitely keep the Samsung 65” ready for another really cool video! What a beautiful seascape that was! I could almost smell the salt air. I have some news! My Goldwing is coming home Friday to her new home. It will be a chilly 22 mile ride but well worth it. I will be looking forward to your next video! Oh, I have Wingstuff Belly on its way! Thanks again, Karl!
Woohoo, that's awesome news. I am so happy for you Karl. If you have time, please send me a few more pictures of you with the bike. I like to keep track of all my friends. From time to time I add pictures into my videos as a way to welcome people to my channel. The Belly Pan is an important accessory to add to your bike. Dress warm and have a fun trip home with your Goldwing. Awesome purchase my friend and welcome to out family of Goldwing owners. Cheers!
Wow! What an amazing video! I watched that on my 65” Samsung, I was practically there with you guys! You were in shirt sleeves! It wasn’t cold there? The mighty North Atlantic looks so beautiful and yet so unforgiving. That was a very enjoyable video. I hope you guys don’t catch colds from the rain. Thank you guys! Correction!! Don’t catch colds! Sorry! (It pays to proof read.) LOL
Good evening and thanks for your wonderful comment. I really appreciate you watching the video and joining in the chat. That day the temp was 28C / 82F, and we were able to walk around in shirt sleeves. The rain was short lived and actually refreshing after a hot day of riding. We even had rain gear but never bothered to put it on. We never caught a cold but did enjoy a fantastic ride exploring the Island. Enjoy the rest of your evening. Cheers! PS: keep your 65" TV on standby. I have a couple of more videos to edit and share. Woohoo!
Hi Larry, thank you for sharing! Beautiful scenery. I love the shots of the ocean and the rock formations! Over 500 years of history in that area.
Good evening Tom, hope you are having a great day. It's always nice to have you drop in for another video and join in the comments. Newfoundland is rich in history and never-ending in rugged coastline, rock formations and islands. It was a pleasure to ride my Goldwing there two years in a row and capture some of the Province on video. Thank you my friend and I hope you enjoy the rest of your evening.
Fantastic ride my buddy that is definitely one of the most scenic area in this province. I watched closely while you were on the cape to see if I happened to see me. Ada and I spent a evening there last summer and a overnight in the back of my truck watching the sun set in the evening and waking to fishing boats off shore in the morning was absolutely awesome. Now I've worked in that area and been there when the weather is not so great and wouldn't want to wake up there in the morning there lol. Keep the videos coming my buddy
Hey there Garry, thanks for your kind comment my friend. Wish I could have met up with you guys on the trip. That would have been cool for sure. I bet the sunsets would be fantastic to view from that location with all the islands and rocks. That said, I also know what Newfoundland weather can be like. I got lucky to ride in such good conditions. The small amount of rain wasn't enough to cause much of an issue. My next video will be much further east as I was in the St. John's area. Maybe two or three videos left to edit. Take care, keep your camera rolling and catch you on the next video.
Good morning, Larry. What a great ride video. I had to look up the background about "Bonavista" and learned that the area name comes from the origin of "Grand View." Certainly fits! Thanks for your review and great job by the way with your newest opening sequence. Really good stuff!
Hey there Mark! The history of Bonavista is fascinating, and you are so right about the grand views. Newfoundland is an island with a rich history and I enjoy being able to return and tour around the Island. Growing up there, I never appreciated it's beauty. Thanks for watching and leaving your great comment. I appreciate you my friend.
Awesome adventures with a band of brothers, superbly captured by true time honored countrymen. Birthrights born and bred. To this noble place steeped in historical value. For the curious. I offer merely an excerpt from Wki of this incredible place. Traveler/Discoverer John Cabot (Giovanni Caboto), a freelance Italian explorer, was contracted by England's Henry VII to find new lands, and a sea route to the Orient. Cabot set sail from Bristol, England in his ship the Matthew in 1497. When Cabot first saw land he reputedly said "O Buon Vista" ("Oh, Happy Sight!") giving rise to the name of the town and nearby Cape Bonavista. Wonderful camera & narrative work Larry!
Good morning my friend. Thank you so much for your heartfelt comment and continued support. Newfoundland is rich in history and much of it, I am discovering late in life myself. Being born there, makes it all that much more special. Over the years I find myself missing the open landscapes, close communities and smell of salt ocean air. Guess we all find ourselves thinking back to out carefree childhoods and what we took for granted. This was a crazy, fun tour around Newfoundland and I was so lucky to visit so many awesome places with my Brothers. Many of which were never captured on video. Not sure if I will have the chance to return again but... fingers crossed. Until the next riding season begins, I look forward to hearing motorcycle stories from Yourself, Tom, Robert, Mac, Mark, Adan and others who are still able to get out and ride from time to time. Enjoy your day. Pals.
@ Woohoo! Sounds awesome Larry! Keep the faith. To every season there The lower activity months can spawn new ideas and personal growth for all of us.
Wet is ok when it is warm not so much when close to freezing. Keep showing us our history we all need to know that Canada is a place of it's own.
Good morning and thanks for joining in for another chat. On the day of this video, Mark and I, hit rain several times. It was about 28c and the showers ended quickly. We had a good laugh about getting so wet and by the time we got to out motel we were completely dry. Thank God it wasn't cold. I still have enough film saved for two or three videos and there is some great places mixed in there. My plan for next season is to bring more awareness to out great Country and it's history. Hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend.
Morning Larry. Thanks for taking me to Bonavista. Some beautiful. I'll get there one day. Did ya end up soaked to the bone before yas reached the hotel?
Hey Kenny, I do agree with you on how beautiful Bonavista and the surrounding area is. It was a pleasure to spend some time riding there. Just wish I could have spent more time. After that shower, I was soaked to the bone for sure. As luck had it, the temp was 28c and that was the last of that days rain. With sun and the wind as we rode along, we quickly dried out and were in great shape as we got to the motel about 45 minutes later. What a fun day! Next season I hope to spend more time in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. Fingers crossed!! Thanks for watching and joining the comments.
Larry my friend, what a stunning ride! Looks similar to what you’ve done before, but heading the opposite direction. Your video skills are climbing with each trip. That 360 is so cool!! That lighthouse!!! I could spend a whole day there shooting. Man you and your brother sound identical :-) sorry about the rain, here’s your scout badge. Thank you my friend, just stunning work!
Thank you so much Robert. The scout badge would be great after passing the motorcycle rain test. lol. This area was close to the last location and the landscapes are similar. During my visit, Peter and I talked several times about your photography and how we thought you would like to spend time there with your camera. It's not as extreme as the places you have visited but do offer spectacular views. That said, rain could be ten minutes away on the best of days. The Atlantic Ocean is not forgiving. The camera setup was exciting to play around with and I have more plans for this year. Now I have switched to all Insta360 cameras and am working on more ideas. New video on that soon. Editing is a killer as you know!! As always, I appreciate you and look forward to your comments and/or suggestions. Enjoy your day.
That was fantastic buddy thanks so much to you and Mark for showing the awesome scenery sorry you guys had to get wet take care see you on the next video
Welcome back Tom. Great to have you drop in for another video session and join in the comments. I do appreciate you. Mark was my Tour Guide for this section of the Island but I think I should file a complaint about the rain. lol. He shouldn't get off the hook because he is my Brother. :) We had a great time and the scenery was amazing. The weather worked out well, for the most part. Motorcycles and rain always seem to attract each others company. My editing is going slow but there is still a few videos left to go. Take care my friend.
Another beautiful video, Larry. Got to love the views from such an amazing location. The rain was the only downside 😂
Thank you Mac, I do appreciate your kind worded comments and support. Newfoundland it an awesome place to ride and witness fantastic scenery but rain can always be 10 minutes away. The Atlantic Ocean is not forgiving and can change the weather quickly. Thank God, it was about 28c that day. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
Beautiful scenery. Thanks for sharing. Ride safely.
Thank you Mike. This was a scenery packed adventure for sure. Appreciate you checking out the video. Cheers!
That looks like a lot of fun!!! Except for the rain at the end
Hey my friend. This ride was a blast and and spending time with my Brothers was so much fun. The rain wasn't that much fun but didn't last long. You know what it's like. lol. Enjoy your weekend.
Good riding brothers. Visited twice last year and the area is always amazing. A must visit when riding the island. There are a ton of interesting places on the Bonavista Peninsula. Loved the video.
Hey, thanks Pete. We still have a few videos to go but things are winding down now. This was a fantastic ride and I am so happy I had a chance to visit the Bonavista area. It's amazing there. Talk soon. Cheers!
Great video. 👏👍
Thank you for watching and leaving a comment. Have a fantastic day.
Hi Larry, wow, what an incredible ride! The scenic coastline and the charm of Trinity, Newfoundland, were captured beautifully. Riding along those coastal roads on a Goldwing must have been a dream-smooth, relaxing, and full of breathtaking views. The way you highlighted the town’s unique character made me feel like I was right there with you. Thanks for sharing this amazing journey!
Thank you so much Tom, for your kind words! It was a pleasure to share the journey with you, and I'm glad you enjoyed it. The small towns all around Newfoundland share so must history and are unique in their own way. The ride through the winding narrow roads was amazing. Just checked my files and I have enough film saved for another three or four videos. Good stuff ahead my friend. Enjoy your day.
Wow….. seems like big things are coming Larry……..looking forward to what 2025 has in store for you……all the best buddy.
Thanks Bryan. Just trying to get everything figured out. Should be fun. Thanks for the support my friend.
Hi Larry- Thanks for the ride along to Trinity NL Great job with capturing all the camera/video perspectives. Great job with turning that trailer around. I do like the name of your brother, too! Cheers.
Happy Friday Mark. Great to have you here for another video. This was a fun video to edit and i had no idea what i was going to do with all the camera angles. Mark was so much fun to ride with and he done all he could to help me get the best views. We had a great time and visited so many cool places. Thanks again and enjoy your day.
Ok what's the story on your license plate :) Just a stunning drive Larry, wow. Thank you for taking us along !!
Hey there Robert. I have told many stories about the plate but here is the correct one. My last Goldwing was a 2017. Shortly after I purchased it, I joined a riding group called the Southern Cruisers. I figure about 90% of the group had Harleys or some other model with loud pipes and v-twins. Here I was with a Goldwing that was so quiet. This got me thinking so I put two words on the back. Silent Treatment. There was lots of questions, so I just told everyone that the words meant Silent Treatment 4 Me. ST4ME. Out I go and purchased the plate. Then in 2021, I purchased the Goldwing that I now have. The plate on it was 2R0N3. Now people thought my name was Ron. After many chats about my name, I just had my old plate changed over to my 2021. And that my friend..... is the story. lol. Thanks for the comment/question, and I hope you finish out the week in good health and a long ride on your bike. Cheers!
Trinity is a beautiful community. One of the most visited areas by tourists. During the summer there is a community theater group that puts of shows using the whole community as the stage and everyone including tourists are participants. Quite popular. It's not running anymore but you probably remember the Trinity Loop Park, complete with train rides through the countryside. I get down that way ever year. Glad brother Mark took you down. Love the video and of course more to come.love ya brother
Brother Peter, thanks for chiming in and I appreciate you adding that information. Wish yourself and Cooper had been able to ride along with us but that's how things work out at times. I did skip ahead a little on the videos but still have plenty more to edit and post. The nice part about editing is getting a chance to relive the ride. WOW, what a blast we had! Never know when that will happen again. Talk later Bro. Hello to all the family.
What a beautiful area! And fantastic camera views!
Thanks for the comment! The scenery around Trinity is amazing. It was fun to play with all four cameras and I figures it would work well, just in case one failed. I appreciate your visit my friend.
How's she goin'? You really get to see the places and country side up close on the bike eh. What a great way to tour. Thanks for taking us along. Take 'er easy!!
Thanks for your visit and kind words. I have been lucky the last couple of years and visited so many places. There is nothing like the motorcycle experience. Not only do we see much more but the smells and sounds that you don't notice in a car. I still have more video to share and will be posting more soon. Good health to you my friend and prayers for Nannie so she will get back to good health soon.
Good stuff, Larry, thanks for the ride!
Thank you my friend. I appreciate your support and comments and hope to post some more cool videos soon. Enjoy the rest of your week and I will catch you on your video. Cheers!
Coastal Marine always a visit when I'm in town or in Clarenville. Just watched your Trinity video earlier today and commented of course
Thanks Garry. I have friends at the Mount Pearl location. Love the hate! lol
Beauitiful little town, all houses have the old style wood clapboard painted in bright colors, won't see vinyl siding there. I was there in 2020 and got some nice pictures of Trinity in a facebook album. Thanks for the video.
Hey there, thanks for watching and joining in the comments. The old style houses and bright paint sets Trinity and all Newfoundland apart from other provinces. The beauty is amazing and I hope you also had a wonderful experience on your travels. Take care my friend and enjoy the rest of your week. Good health and best wishes for 2025. Cheers!
Awesome ride Larry! Newfoundland is such a beautiful place on earth. The video quality was excellent. You dug into your tool box for this one. Nice job.
RG, my friend, great to have you back for another video. Born in Newfoundland, the island will always be a special place for me. The beauty is unmatched and the people welcome me back like a long lost friend. I may have gone a little overboard with the cameras but I was trying to capture as much as possible and keep things interesting. Mark did a great job of leading the charge and picking the places to visit on this day of the tour. It sure was fun. As always, I appreciate your kind words and friendship. All the best and safe travels in 2025. Cheers!
@ It all worked! It was a thing of beauty!!Nice job Larry!
@@roadglide Thank you my friend.
Love that area , my daughters bf is from Trinity. It's certainly hilly there. Actually my daughter have land bought there for a vacation / retirement home, not in Trinity proper but back the road a ways . It was in Trinity I did a kayak video that I got out of my comfort zone with my experience that's not a storm lol. The circumference of the harbour is 21 miles , my daughter bf paddled it as a fund raiser for the fire department couple of summers ago. Thanks for the morning ride my buddy and Happy New Year
Good morning Garry. Your Daughter is a lucky lady to have land for a retirement home in that area. I would love to live there myself. I wish I had known more about Trinity before I got there. Talking and giving more information in real time is much better and interesting. It's hard to do everything as you ride along. The visit was fantastic and I hope I gave a good picture of the area and it's people. There is still more video to be edited and I think you will like it as well. I remember watching one of your Kayak videos a couple of months ago. Now I have to go back and check it out again. Thanks for your wonderful comment my friend. All the best to you and yours in 2025. Cheers!
@@goldwingmoments I'm sure I'll enjoy the next one as well my friend as I've enjoyed all in the past , keep them coming
Happy New Year Larry! Keep riding...
Thanks, I am looking forward to a great riding season! Hope you are doing well and with a little luck we can plan a ride together this next season. Happy New Year Amer, and all the best in 2025. Cheers!
Very nice ride, Larry. I assume pulling a trailer makes things more challenging. Stay safe.
Good morning Mac. Hope you are off to a great start in 2025. Once I finally got the trailer figured out and balanced, it got hooked to my bike and remains there. Now I take it everywhere with me. It is a challenge at times and the more it's used, the more I learn. The unit tows like an arrow and I keep checking my mirrors to make sure it's still back there. I am not an aggressive rider so the trailer works well for me. I have found that downhill in sharp, steep, tight curves, I can feel it in the rear of the bike and I need to adjust my riding habits. There are tricks for backing up and parking. That will be a video for next season. In short, I love my trailer. Thanks for your support and comments my friend. Lets get this winter over with! Enjoy the rest of the week. Cheers!
@goldwingmoments Yes, I'm considering a trailer as my next move, but I'm somewhat reluctant for now. As I travel I plan to do a little camping as I go and maybe do hotels every three nights. Otherwise, going places would be expensive.
@@GoldRyderOne , take your time and figure out what works best for you. On my Newfoundland trip, I had enough clothing for two weeks, tools, spare tire for the bike and trailer, jack, bike and trailer covers, video equipment, spare trailer lights, riding gear and more in the trailer. No tent. The bike can handle the trailer load and I never even had to enter sport mode. You couls also consider a good used trailer like i did. Lots of options to think about.
@goldwingmoments Thanks, Larry.
Yes beautiful and colourful little town. Great tour
Hey there, thanks for following along and leaving another comment. Your support is much appreciated my friend. The Newfoundland ride was fantastic and the small towns and communities are filled with beauty. Love it there. Enjoy the rest of your week.
Trinty is a lovely area. Home of Rising Tide Theatre and the Trinity Pageant. I've had many students and graduates work in Trinity for the summer and loved it. I've got to plan a trip back there this summer.
Good morning Jim. Thanks for checking in for another video my friend. My trip to Trinity was fantastic but I was unprepared and never knew anything about the area in advance. Talking about the rising tide, trinity pageant and other interesting information would be much better in real time. That said, I was blown away by the beauty of the area. Now I understand why your students and graduates loved the community. This is surely a location of interest for your 2025 season tour. Thanks again for your comment and I look forward to following along on your journeys this year. Enjoy the rest of your week and good health in 2025. Cheers!
