My daughter is a figure skater and to do the impossible, you need to train and include a variety of different elements to strengthen certain parts of your body (ballet, weights, cardio, vestibular spinning). Don't give up! I can't wait to hear who is able to fully execute this move.

It's an insane amount of arm strength and being in tune with their bodies' physics. Don't think of it like building from a back flip into a double back flip; think of it like learning to do a back handspring, then learning to do a back flip. The latter is a progression of the former conceptually, but the physics and timing are completely different.

Everybody else was FLOP, BAIL, CRASH, OWW ,UGH, NOPE, HURT, !! But dude hit that Move ! We used to dream up moves the kids would be doing, like Double Air Flare... so technical sounding. This move originally started as being called the Windmill (old school history west coast terminology) Windmill : Gyro, Flare. Olympian Kurt Thomas first floor flare , dubbed "the Thomas flare. Misheard and B-Boy re-named the "Atomic Flare" So when B-Boy Kuriaki (rip) was in Beat Street doing "skip flares" we would daydream of the future when kids would be doing "No-Footed Swipes" and "Skip Atomic Flares" and "Spinning 1990's" into two-handed , what we used to call , "2001's" My opinion is that the best chance of pulling it off would be the 7, 8, 9 year olds. At that age, once they pull that move off, And then get it to where they can double air- flare at will !! So that by ages 10 thru 16 WOULD BE INSANE !! Think about it ! TTHHEENNN!- Then put it in the Olympics! Olympic routines should be like gymnastics. Within your routine you must include a checklist of moves as a requirement , just as the other similar sport categories. For the later rounds, a system (computer) will randomly compile short "playlists" of the next competitor. , then they can get ready like a day maybe, to prepare. And let them choose their own Music to get down to. That could add to the "WOW' factor for spectators and Judges. Then it just boils down to pulling the moves from the list in any combo you wish, (keep it freestyle flow feeling) within a time limit, factor in some style and maybe a new move or two yet to be discovered. Man the Future is AWSOME. !!
