I have a trouble during kinetics. I use a high concentration of enzyme and i do it because i want to do immobilization. However, it is hard to track the activity because the absorbance is too high. Is it okay if i take an aliquot from the enzyme reaction and measure the absorbance for each time? Thanks🙏

We (a chosen few college kids) used an ultracentrifuge in a couple of college lab courses. The use of the thing was heavily supervised for obvious reasons. I wasn't there at the time, but saw the aftermath. Someone screwed up and the centrifuge was destroyed. The basket was shredded, refrigeration coils were visible and mangled, the lid was all bent up. The rotor, itself weighing maybe 10 pounds empty, was found down the hall - pretty scuffed up but apparently not seriously damaged. There was a log book that was supposed to be signed at every use, but I never heard who did the deed.
