The main trouble you two are having is that you are both so easily distracted that you lose coherency almost immediately every time a fight kicks off. Another issue is the way Glitchy just stands still whilst firing with the view zoomed right in, he's a sitting duck every time he does that and so many of his deaths are because of it I've seriously lost count! On another note, the spark issue from the eitr refinery can be solved easily if you just add another layer of black marble to the outside of that section of house, you could use the steep sloping pieces for it and simultaneously cover the dip towards the wall that way. You'll lose very little space outside but entirely stop the sparks getting out.

@waffles you can also go my fav. build glass cannon/tank builds not sure if you'll love it as I do 3 top tier ashland foods: Foods: 1 Piquant pie , 1 Roasted crust pie ,1 Marinated greens or 1 Piquant pie / 1 Mashed meat & 1 Marinated greens Armor: either go for flametal set or askvin set ( but I like using Fenris set. finish the whole ashland + 4 secret boss ever since I got it I never took it off) Staff of protection (Glass) & Brutal Slayer (Cannon) pop that Staff of protection 1-3x ( depends on how low hp you want = more damage ) once you heard the glass break automatically click the staff off protection and pop it . with this build I even summon larry/jerry/terry/henry and pop them some protection all with just 1 eitr food

Glitchy, the staff of protection has one of the best parry bonuses.

if you have a shield from the staff up, then parry, you can get a free parry off (well not free, its at the cost of the bubble)

The first Flametal gear I make, is the towershield. I also usually grind the blocking skill to high values, by standing in front of a pit full of skeletons archers, which makes shields very powerful with two or three health foods. That combination is already a life saver, while playing alone. But in coop it is incredible, when you can draw all the attacks, while the others attack with magic, ranged and melee hit and run. Usually I combine the Flametal Tower shield with heavy armor, however sometimes I combine a Flametal Towershield with the Fenring set and a Blackmetal Knife, for a combination of high blocking and mobility. I play with a big Inventory mod and thus simply always carry the spare Fenring set with me, for traveling. Archery and blocking are the two most powerful skills, because they increase their respective actions in more ways than the other skills. For blocking that is how much dmg gets through, the stamina used for blocking and most importantly what enemies you can block.

I've found that you can run a furnace off of 1 geyser. So you can run as many furnaces per geyser you have portaled. Saves a lot on wood.

This mountain you are on is insane. I thought the one I found was pretty tall but it doesn't have shear cliffs for 2/3rds of its height. Transporting my first silver was fun. My mountain adjacent outpost is right next to a valley with a river running through it. However, it's a very narrow river. I doubt the Longship would traverse it well. So I decided to haul the silver through a Black Forest to reach more open waters. That is after I threw the 2170 weight cart down the mountain. I promptly used all that silver to make a few things. The first being a wolf cape. I can save my Frost resist mead for death runs now. Trying to naked death run with a Hammer and campfire supplies was not great. There was one death run where a single wolf spotted me and I was luckily near a pit I dug much earlier for golem reasons. Lured the wolf into the pit and got out safely. Other death runs were not so successful when wolves were involved. This single mountain has changed my deaths from 3 to somewhere around 20.

Man. Even tho Glitchy is getting better with bubbles, I was suprised how little he used the staff of wilds. That stave is the difference between Ashlands as a struggle and as manageable. It is a bit different of a technique because you gotta stay near the vines, but vines can deal with a pile of enemies very efficiently.

I just knew as soon as Glitchy saw the dverger rouge, he was gonna do exactly that. 😂😂😂 nothing like chain lightning.

Oh no Glitchy has been glitched again 😮. I had that happen a time or two as well, no idea what the cause was unfortunately. Didn't you plant a few Fiddleheads at home base last episode? Maybe time to plant more as well as vineberries 😊 Another awesome video. I am rewatching the entire season again while I'm convalescent my paws as it's been so fun to watch.

When the preparation table came I had not read anything and I didn't notice that it had come in the menu. And right before the update my nephew made bread for me and him in the cauldron. So I was so frustrated when I could not make bread some days later. I could not find out why I couldn't make the bread, even though I had the upgrades to the Cauldron and the stone oven. So I went to reddit for help, I shouldn't not have done that. My god people are so rude, I thought the Valheim community stick together and help each other out when someone needed help. I got answer. Are you stupid or something, you need the F'ing preparation table. I just answer him with. Sorry I didn't know, but you didn't have to be rude about it, but thanks telling me about the table. But now that my nephew don't play, I play by my self and I read every update Irongate maks. So I don't need to ask anyone.

I usually just build a base with a smelter and forge on sight at every new biome, so i can build the new items there rather than sailed them all back to my meadows base.

Black Metal chests are good for long term, low storage needs, where the lower storage density isn't a problem. Things like outposts, where you just need some storage to store ores and dump misc items from your inventory to deal with later.
