Zegna is pronounced 'Zen-ya". You dont need to say his first name, everyone knows it as just Zegna. His first name is 'Er-min-jeel-doe'. Dooney & Bourke doesnt use the "u" as part of the pronunciation, Bourke is like 'Berk', so 'Doo-nee & Berk'. I graduated HS in 1972 before Title IX. We had no girls sport teams, we weren't even allowed to use the basketball court to play ball. Once a week we could play volleyball on the basketball floor. We were not thought of as equal in any way

You should block her, it's not worth the aggravation. I have been fortunate and not had any returns. I did have a woman ask me once, she wanted me to take a return because her sister gained weight I told her no and that was the end of it.

Hello, love your videos and your positive energy! I also live in Northern California and have just recently ( May 2024) starting reselling. Both of my kids have recently left for college and reselling has been a fun distraction for me. I have yet to be at a Goodwill in CA. I went to my first one in New Mexico. It was VERY interesting but I found some great items. The closest bins to me is Sacramento. Is this the store you go to? I'm curious about this location. Thank you for your videos.

Definitely need to get ready for fall/winter and have larger polymailers for the jackets, etc. I am a bins newbie and have only been a couple of times (I am in Austin, TX). I am fortunate to have really good inventory sources in other spots, including consignment clients. Thrift store prices here are mostly crazy, but I can sometimes find deals. That being said, I would like to work up the mental grit and stamina for the bins, especially when yard sale season is slow. From what I can tell, carts aren't forbidden in the rows but it's difficult to navigate them with the crowds and I think it irks the regulars. I find a rolling bag works well. It holds a lot, but isn't too intrusive next to me while digging. I am so nervous to get my cart pilfered! I see all the seasoned bin-goers have their carts against the wall with blankets over them, but what's to stop someone from ignoring that? I mean, if they are stealing from others' carts, I don't see how a blanket is gonna stop em. The treasures to be found seem to be worth the battle, so I am just gonna have overcome my anxiety about all bins related things :)

I'm going to start listing 10 a day. My average sale is $30. What kind of gross sales can I expect when I start listing 10 items a day? Is that a question that can even be answered? I'm trying to find a seller who made a video on listing 10 a day on ebay and what happened to their sales when they did that. I sell clothes mostly with 10% shoes.

I use Vendoo (I think you do, too?), so I start the draft there (from my phone and finish on desktop) and then crosslist everything to ebay, Posh, depop and some things to Vestiaire. I live in Michigan. The couple of bins that I go to are like yours, you must keep your cart against the wall for the most part. Most people find a sheet or blanket and cover their cart. I have been to other bins in Ohio and Indiana where you can just push your cart along with you. So I guess it just depends on your bins store.

Hello from your new friend Paula from Washington! Went to Oakland bins today. It was very different- outside under a tent and you can buy huge boxes for $60 if you’re feeling crazy

I used to work in a Dry Cleaners, that white Tommy Bahama with stains can be soaked in a bathtub with original Dawn Dish Washing Soap, for as long as it takes, to get the stains out, the longest we soaked an item was 2-weeks, add lots of Dawn Dish Washing Soap to cold water, for a comforter, probably have to add a whole bottle, experiment a little, just about any stain will come out, including automotive greasem back to the comforter: check it a couple times a day, stir and work on the stains, just make sure you don't grow mold, in other words don't leave it soaking in water too long. And I would not wash cashmere, that should go to the Dry Cleaners.
