Lotus and Sabro Hazy Pale Ale
มุมมอง 7553 ปีที่แล้ว
After discovering Lotus hops I knew I would have to pair it with Sabro in my hazy pale ale. This beer is bright, bold and full of flavour. The combination of Lotus and Sabro together creates a tropical punch type drink consisting of vanilla, coconut, stone fruit and berries. The recipe is Marris Otter 4kg, 8.8 lbs Wheat Malt 1kg, 2.2 lbs Cara Malt 500g, 1.1 lbs Kviek ale yest 60 mins Sabro 5g, ...

Choc Vanilla Porter - Grain to Glass - No Temp Control!
มุมมอง 3.9K4 ปีที่แล้ว
British porter is one of the true OG's of beer. It's easy drinking, toasty and medium bodied. Basically a less stouty stout. In this video we show you how to brew an all grain, chocolate vanilla English porter in the Brewzilla(robobrew) We put our own touch on it by brewing it with kveik yeast, adding cocoa nibs and dosing it at the end with vanilla extract. Wood fire pizza's in the weber from scratch
มุมมอง 2324 ปีที่แล้ว
This video shows you how to cook wood fire pizza's on a Weber charcoal kettle, but it can be done in any bbq or even in the oven. Making pizza dough is easy and allows for a nice pillowy crust and the pizza stone allows for it to cook evenly and quickly. Asian tip is to get a pork prickler
Is that Moog's music from MCM? 😀
Did you have to add any coals to the grill? I've seen indirect cooks on this grill where they keep the side vents open on the coal side and closed on the meat side. They also close the top vent on the coal side and open the top vent on the meat side. Good job though, the meat looks great.
She did just that.Pay attention.
@@jonnygunner65 What are you talking about, you need your eyes and ears checked, I didn't see her add any additional coals to the fire.
Lovely! You could probably also make due with half the coals for a nice slow cook
Thanks for sharing! Having a crack this arvo.
😂 how’s the defqon jacket 👌
Great video. Can you tell me is it best to start cooking while the pork is at room temperature?
suscribed!! didnt know Kevin De Bruyne liked to homebrew
Mighty Car Mods music
how long did that take?
Nice video, very thorough and well explained!
Ohhhh guys...that made me salivate. Can i ask where you got those delicious looking 3 bone ribs from...and were they super expensive??
From a butcher that specialises in low and slow (was a bit of a drive but worth it) generally it's worth travelling or paying for delivery. And this rack cost roughly $50 Australian so its expensive but very worth it for the one off treat
just a tip, should have left that to rest at least an hour wrapped up and in a cooler box. would have been tender!
My god this looks good
Did you leave the air holes openings on both sides on the bottom full open the whole cook? Thanks
I left the top circular vent over the coals closed, so the heat is drawn over the meat. Bottom vents completely open
Aaahhh "pork" the meat that has been proven to have highest number of becteria no matter how much you cook it. Nastiest filth out there that unfortunately some people still eat.
Fabulous! Love the first dance, awesome music. The special treat is just brilliant!!
Was very awesome first dance.
Nice 👍
Turn off the music

This video is just what i was after. I have tried the NZ Crumble Cider in a can but didn't fancy spending $100 on a case! Being a brewer this seemed a better option. One question I had, with the steeping of oats I'm not sure whether the oats are just soaked and the juices used or do you actually put in the softened oats?
Sorry that wasn't clearer, the oats get thrown out after . In the last few batches I have actually not used oats at all, and found it just not to be worth the added effort
Hi there, thanks for the great video! Can I ask what vent settings you used during the cook?
🤠👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🤝🤝🤝🤝👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🤠
Wow..so proud to be your uncle...Dan
Looks good, is the music you used from Mighty Car Mods? It sounds really familiar
Sure is! moog let’s anyone use his tunes as long as you buy them :)
So No need to put pressure for the spunding valve? Or you just trapped the Co2?
nice legs!
Jesus mate, theres other sites for that😆
Hi Ellie and Jack - just wondering where you got your chest fridge from?
Hi Kath it’s the Hisense 205L. We got it from an electrical store called the good guys
Butchers tip, get a box cutter for scoring the rind. Makes it so easy.
Wow, you're game. Walking bare feet while carrying the briquettes around.
Yummo!!!
Great job. Now I'm looking forward to weekend
Love this recipe, it’s my go to for pork belly on the Weber. The family love it. Would love to see more Weber kettle videos!! Keep up the good work
Will definitely make this Love easy recipes Thanks
That looks the goods and straight forward. 👌
Love east recipes You did nice and slow Thanks will definitely make
Mine didn't come out Like that😑
It was light when started and dark when finished... Must've taken 4/5hrs
What temp was your weber at for the first couple of hrs unwrapped briskit.
Lower vents are installed upside down btw.
Quite a few people install this way, it makes it easier to see the vents
Literally following this video right now. Weber is fired up and ready to go
Good video mate and thanks for it, but just a word of caution when pouring those hot coals and not wearing any shoes. Those things can bounce anywhere at anytime when pouring and let's just say OUCHY!!! Not that I would know from experience but anyway I always use the chimney starter with the lever activated trap door. Much more control and safer that way. Cheers!
That looks epic! can’t wait to try it! cheers
Videos are real helpful, thank you
What is the grain bill that you use?
Hey mate it’s just in the description for the vid
@@jackeladventures1419 the hop schedule is but not the grain bill. Unless I've drunk to many home brews to see it
Where can I find the recipe.
Hi mate, just in the description of this video
Did you say kimchee? Thought white people didn’t liked that😜
White people with no taste maybe. I love anything fermented, and my partner loves the spiciness of it
@@jackeladventures1419 you guys would probably love kimchee jigae (kimchee/babyback ribs soup). Eating it with rice is my favorite!

Thank you for crediting Moog, it seems I forgot to write a description for this video. Their channel is hours of entertainment and his is such a talented composer
Nice job and it looks like you've been brewing for a bit. Cheers.
Cheers mate, it’s so nice when everything goes right on a brew day, normally there is a bit more wort on the ground haha
@@jackeladventures1419 Most of my brew days, now days go really smooth as far as processes but there is always something that is a tad off like too much or too little wort, or other. With that said I am working with Pierre at Simple Home Brew on something and for my initial run on a brew day I couldn't stop messing up as I simply had WAY too much on my mind...I even started mashing in without putting my grain basket in first....I recovered but still can't believe I did that.
Forgot to mention one thing I like a lot about your channel is that you cover food too...I mean who doesn't like good food. Plus I might need to try those banana snacks with the peanut butter.
It can be so distracting brewing at home and having things happen around you. Thanks a lot the channel has a been a good side project to keep us busy and I love learning new things and as you said who doesn’t love beer with good food or snacks. Glad your loving the channel
@@jackeladventures1419 I started my channel back in April and I see you all weren't much behind me and it is funny as the person who helped me get past my procrastination is also in your neck of the wood, Pierre at Simple Home Brew. If you get a chance update your "About" section of check out mine and give me a shout as I'm always willing to help share what I've learned so far to help you all if you want to grow things a bit. (the channel is what I am referring to as you all are nice and down to earth which is very relatable.) Sadly I do too much brew so when I do decide to do a bit of food (using beer) those videos for me are sleepers but I enjoy them.
