Beyonce can do alot of technical things with her voice, but her tone is shrill and not very pleasant. She’s also screaming some of these notes. Whitney’s voice is so rich, powerful, and her tone is beautiful. No one can touch Whitney. Whitney’s voice is natural, Beyonce’s voice is from expensive vocal lessons.

Keke is a great singer she’s definitely the best this decade along with jasmine ,Ariana ,Jojo ,Tori Kelly etc but Mariah was and still is that IT VOCALIST the STANDARD

Whitney's power on her G5s and F#5s was uncanny for a mezzo back in the 80s

For me they are both amazing (I am a huge Beyonce fan) But Whitney Houston is Whitney Houston this hard … But for the head voice I think Beyonce won because if you go and listen a compilation of Beyonce head voice… They are really high and they sound so BEAUTIFUL. And the growls on Beyonce voice are the best. There voice are so powerful but in a different way it’s weird. This is not the same power and I can’t decide But I think this should go to Whitney for the vocals, for the voice, for the belts, for everything because she is WHITNEY HOUSTON ans her voice is incredible. The legacy she left and the influence she has over almost every other singer lives up to her legendary voice.

There’s no comparison here.

All I can say is Keke needs to be covering Hero or Outside (to pull off the Gs in either) in the next Mariah tribute. I picture her covering just about any Mariah song sans whistle...with Vanessa Amorosi obliterating AYNAF, Gabriel Henrique whistling the hell out of Vision of Love, Christina Marie with that insane trademark melisma on the word “over” in Lead the Way, Beyoncé caressing the verses and covering the climax to Always Be My Baby and then belting the hell out of the midrange and doing the intricate melisma in Forever, Ariana dueting with Brian McKnight on Whenever You Call, Mori starting with belting and whistling Emotions and transitioning to soaring through Butterfly, Katrina Velarde belting and riffing with BiiM on One Sweet Day, and a number of others somewhere on that panel with other songs that define her career.

Whitney's tone and vocal placement is just more agreeable and exciting. I would argue Beyonce is the better singer from a classical and technical point. But everything from Whitney's tone to her diction just clicks to me. I think people need to admit Beyonce is at least on Mariah/Celine/Whitney's level and that they just dont care for her music as much.

Keke kills Mariah. Keke is in a whole new singing lane by herself. I see alot of keke haters here. Keke is the best voice I have ever heard next one pattie.

As a singer myself I’d listen To Beyoncé over Whitney Houston any day of the week.. Beyoncé’s style is just more interesting to listen to. She does so many things with her voice. No shade to Whitney , She gives great tone and Has a ton of Powerful belts but besides that... what else is there? Beyoncé can give you Toné, runs, dynamics, crescendos and all that of other stuff. And she is going to give it her best 20 years consistently.
