People knock Stephen hendry, but without doubt, his idol is Jimmy.

I personally think he could have been involved in match fixing, but, there's plenty of videos and compilations of top players playing really bad snooker or missing easy shots throughout matches. The fact is, nobody knows for sure this was fixed and it could be a disservice to Brown for a memorable win. There's a video of Higgins getting beat off Davis and it's full of sleuths analysing every miss of John's... But none of Davis'. All the comments are in hindsight of the NOTW story and weren't duscussed at the time.

I believe a lot of spectators lost interest in snooker because of this cheating idiot and the governing body failing to apply penalties fairly. He makes me puke. I never watch, I only trash him if his ugly face appears in my feed.

I totally believed John was innocent of match-fixing so I refused to watch the match. I am stunned by not only being wrong but how poorly he played to prove it. I did actually watch Stephen Lee's match and to be honest, I couldn’t see where he deliberately missed. I do think the wrong one was banned. After watching John blow the ball along the bottom rail at 4:40 I never thought a professional player like John would ever scoop so low…
