707 Suspension has been tuning suspension and building A class race
bikes since the early 2000's. As an avid A class racer and always being a
little bit too big for a stock suspended motorcycle, Joel was always
changing springs, valves, oil's and chassis set ups. We have always been
really involved with off-road racing, hare scrambles, enduros, motocross
and arenacross. Owner, Joel Burkett, advanced to the A class in 2004,
winning a few enduro championships and hare scramble class championships.
In 2009 he qualified for the 2009 ISDE in Portugal. At 707 Suspension we take pride in making sure that our customers have
top-notch suspension and that they are 110% satisfied. In fact we have a
100% money back guarantee on all of our work and performance parts. We
thrive on having the best suspension in Northern California, whether it's
motocross, supercross or off-road. At 707 Racing Suspension our rebuilds
are far beyond what is asked for at any other shop.

I like what you did there. I was thinking about going the other way with a 52 rear for slow speed crawl and better in the woods
Nice work Joel
How exspensive is rebuilding the rear susp?
Average about 200 -300
I built these for Kayaba and Showa forks in the 90s. Glad to see they're being made. Back in the 90s the upper neck of the bottoming cones was non-existent, the cup portion was below the spring perch. A whole 1" to 1.5" bottoming. Mine were 3" and multiple tapered. I worked in Northern California. These really do make a massive difference in bottoming control and as you say you can run a lower oil height. I quit making them when the twin chamber forks came out in a big way. Suzuki was first in 1994. Everyone copied them in 1997. My small business was named Pro Concept Racing, Magnum bottoming cones. Nice job guys.
Thank you for your very helpful videos, much appreciated. Question please I was wanting to lower my Ktm without effecting the shock stroke by fitting an alternative bottom rod end. Can you please advise if such a rod end exists and secondly can you advise correct disassembly and reassembly without damaging the rebound damping adjustment mechanism. Thanking you in advance.
my dampening rod is binding. how do i tear it down? same as AER side? heat and unscrew to get to internal seal? it binding up pretty bad mid stroke
Top!!!
from where do you order the shock body separately?
Nice job, where is your shop?

Dillon is actually so cool
Do you know any method of purging the shock absorber without having to use a vacuum device, it would be of great help, I await your clarification, greetings.
Get a bladder kit for it and you don’t need it
@@nepicness You have not clarified anything I asked you.
@@Mario14792 The answer is no. You can't. Buy the pump, sent it to a shop, or get a bladder kit.
Number sil ???
What was your base setting that you found worked for you guys ?? Thanks
Hey guys, just rebuilding my 250 XC shock and possibly have the same issue with the shock body. How did you get it fixed? KTM does not offer this particular part separately. Are there any decent aftermarket options? Thanks in advance for your response.
I let mine go 155 hrs. Oil was milky but no leaks out of the seals. Didn't take apart air chamber but it's always held air fine. Replaced seals with SKF green seals that in previous bikes have gone over 100 miles with no oil contamination. When you guys replace the quad ring, do you use OEM seals or aftermarket? I've seen bikes with the fork stuck down condition in cold weather. Is there a better quad seal out there I can buy preemptively?
That's my favorite song by Metallica. Sick video!👍🤙
How did you remove the cover above the clip at 46 seconds? It kind of skipped over that part, thanks..
Hit it upwards with a punch or flathead using a hammer. Hit it from alternating holes (2 or 4) to hit it out evenly. Don’t damage the shock shaft in the process, should come up pretty easily
Impressive work dude 👻 ; can you convert a 2013 WP 1190R shock into a PDS shock?
what you mean ? 1190r already have pds shock
PDS is KTM’s non linkage bike, sounds like you already have a PDS shock
he reminds me of jeremy martin
Thanks for the video!!
Dillon is my all time favorite dirtbiking racer. He is so fast at riding !
Dillon is the best. such a good guy! great video Sir
