LIBOR scandal trader Tom Hayes on prison, anger and Asperger’s
Who better to explore the road to resilience than someone who has endured one of the most dramatic falls from grace?
Tom Hayes was once a high-flying city trader, living a life of wealth and status- until the notorious LIBOR scandal in 2015 changed everything. Convicted and imprisoned, he lost his fortune, his luxury cars and his home - all while maintaining that his conviction was unjust. In 2017, he took his fight to the Criminal Cases Review Commission, and after years of legal battles, his appeal will finally be heard by the Supreme Court next month.
His trial also brought an unexpected revelation- his Asperger’s diagnosis, which he argues played a crucial role in his actions and the case against him. In this episode, Tom opens up about life with Asperger’s, the relentless world of high finance, and his experience inside some of Britain’s toughest prisons.

I've just thought of a master class that Paul could do that might be our only chance to save the world from billionaire greed. A master class only for billionaires to make all people matter. Don't know how he could persuade them to partake, but perhaps announce it as a challenge, a bit like 'I could make you see human life differently than you inherently do'. The super rich who inherently believe that they have personally earned their share of unequal distribution of basic needs might be up for a psychological challenge. Those billionaires who stood so proudly at President Trump's side as if they had been elected too need a challenge like Paul could address. An hypnosis challenge for our modern times.

It is stupefying that this video has had so few views. The film was an excellent portrayal of a victim in contrast with so films that spotlight the abuser. It was so real and effective. And the triumphant victory is an inspiration for every victim/survivor. David Tait gives hope to millions to overcome abuse sexual or otherwise.

I went through a total breakdown at 30, I'm now 55. Psychologists labelled me as bipolar but they were wrong. I had a strange childhood with crazy habits but realized it was childhood abuse that led me down this path which also got me institutionalized and broken. It was Christ my Lord Jesus who opened my heart to love properly and then heal fully. To this day i don't need meditation nor help except from my Redeemer. Although i lost everything, i still have the faith that He gave me to survive, look and call continually on Jesus. Sounds strange to many but He is very real and very much there for me. Been watching Katy on TH-cam vids for some time now and love her music. Million bicycles in Beijing for example, i play along with my sopranino recorder and sounds complimentary to her song. I play a bit of keyboard and am musically inclined so i copy many artists songs and their tunes. Katy Meluas' one of my favorite artists. Music is therapeutic. Thanks for this interview. God bless.

So wanted to hurt those who harmed you, Good that you found your voice and chose to heal as best you have been able to. Yes, I too as so many have experienced sexual and other forms of abuse, but, all, I wanted was for that little boy to heal. PTSD is real, so, even though many of us survive, there can be residual affects even after we have done the work to get better. Wish you continued good mental health.

*.Spin around, like a whirling dervish, clockwise (yang in the northern hemisphere/yin in the southern hemisphere) or counterclockwise (yin in the northern hemisphere/yang in the southern hemisphere). Chanting these mantras(yin mantras) heal each chakra: Um like "from"(root), Am like "Tom"(sacral/solar plexus), Oom like "room"(heart), Em like "them"(throat), Om like "home"(heart/throat/pineal) and Ngm (humming with tongue on the roof of the mouth/pineal/crown). These mantras build yang in the body: Eem like "team", Im like "him" and Am like "lamb". Chant these mantras a number of times at the corresponding sound frequency for each chakra: 1,2,4,8:256hz(root),144:288hz,34:272hz,33:264hz(sacral),5,20:320hz(solar plexus),88:352hz,21:336hz,89:356hz(heart),3,12:384hz(throat), 7:448hz,13:416hz,(pineal),54:432hz(left brain), 55:440hz(right brain), 60:480hz(crown). The days of the week relate to the chakras as follows: sunday(root), monday(sacral), tuesday(solar plexus), wednesday(heart), thursday(throat), friday(pineal), saturday(crown). Sleep with the head placed at any cardinal direction. The cardinal directions represent the 4 seasons: east(spring), south(summer), west(autumn), north(winter) in the northern hemisphere or east(spring),north(summer), west(autumn), and south(winter) in the southern hemisphere. Stare into these symbols before sleep in order(or if resting sabbath before sundown): the eye of horus and its mirror image, the eye of ra, one eye at a time, 7 colored rainbow, then the torus yantra, pentacle, metatron's cube, heptagram, enneagram and then the flower of life mandala before sleep. Go for walks while breathing deeply through the mouth and nose(count your breaths based on the number of chanting repetitions for each chakra depending on the day of week). While walking also periodically touch each finger tip to the tip of the thumb and make fists(mudras). Lift weights and box a punching bag. Place coiled copper wire into the soil and grow non-gmo soy, wheat, corn, mint potatoes, regular(unfeminized) cannabis seeds(sour hebrew national, mercury rising)and papaver somniferum(7 year crop rotation). Get natto starter to make natto. Place bare feet and hands on the grass. Sunbathe or shine white LED light on skin during the day and at night use LED lights on red(sunday), orange(monday), yellow(tuesday), green(wedsnesday), blue(thursday), indigo(friday) or violet(saturday) settings and expose all skin to the light. Another helpful suggestion. From friday sunset to saturday sunset rest the sabbath which means no lighting fires(no lighters, stovetops, hot water from water heater with pilot flame etc.), no physical exercise, no singing or listening to music, and no buying or selling. This will increase yin in the body for the following week. Breaking the sabbath(doing the opposite) will increase yang in the body for the following week. During the sabbath, if keeping the sabbath, wear all white clothing. If breaking the sabbath, wear all black clothing. Rotate the sleeping cardinal direction at the end of every sabbath: east, south, west, north in the northern hemisphere or east, north, west, south in the southern hemisphere. Take boswellia, neem(sparingly), cinnamon, turmeric, curcumin, nutmeg, gotu kola, schizandra, fo-ti, oregano oil, garlic, vitamins and minerals. Drink lemon juice, lemon balm, mint herbal teas and kefir. Drink organic caffeinated coffee, tea or cocoa in the morning(take breaks from caffeine as well). Also take n-acetyl cysteine, bromelain nattokinase, ivermectin paste and pyrantel paste. Eat amanita muscaria infused chocolate. Drink baking soda in water(alkaline),brush teeth and gargle with baking soda. Gargle and brush teeth with peppermint, clove and cinnamon oils. Experiment with resting one different day of the week the same as the sabbath(from sundown to sundown)or every other day sabbath. Worship these lunar deities: Khonsu(east), Thoth(south in the northern hemisphere/ north in the southern hemisphere), Yah(west), and Usir(north in the northern hemisphere/south in the southern hemisphere). Look into Nos Confunden's terra infinita map...
