I just saw this vid i'm so hurt i grew up on this group back in the great days of the 80's I was in a singing group in high school and this was the song i did too get in the group I want ur love !!! We forget about these amazing artists until we hear of their passing! Then it hit us of the impact they left behind! I’m just sad now because that music was amazing and takes me back when I was a little boy! To her family and friends my condolences 🙏🏾🌹🌹🌹

I partied and danced many a night to the music of Chic! May Alfa Anderson RIP. She was truly a gifted artist.

💔💔💔😭😭😭 MAAAAAAANNNNNN.......talk about a DOWNER‼‼Chic was/is/and ETERNALLY WILL BE one of the GREATEST BANDS OF ALLLLLLLL TIME and Alfa's gorgeous, elegant and sexy voice is etched forever in my mind and heart. She helped provide a BIG CHUNK of the Soundtrack of My Youth that I STILL PLAY almost everyday now that I'm an Old Fart! The happiest times in my life (I'm 63) were spent on the DANCE FLOOR in my 20's, 30's and some 40's going beautifully berserk until the wee morning hours at the clubs to Chic's MAGNIFICENT MUSIC. I was on the swim team in high school and our workouts were BRUTAL. To not die of exhaustion and keep up the pace, I would play "I Want Your Love" in my head over & over in my head on a loop as it keep me moving at the right speed. Every last Chic recording is a MASTERPIECE and that's in large part due to Alfa! I'm gonna' TRY NOT to be depressed and sad but celebrate the fact that she shared her incredible talent & soul with us for 77 years and made us ALL SO HAPPY every time we heard, hear and will hear a Chic DANCE ANTHEM. ❤🧡💛💚💙💜🤎🖤🤍
