Watch Biden Stump the Trump with this ONE Question
By the way mine was a gold 1970
My first bike was a Honda SL350 I would love to find one
As far as 'the most for the least' goes that HAS to be one the best motorcycles ever made: 105MPH+, light, sweet handling, reliable, economical and AFFORDABLE. It's the bike the British should have built if the pompous, self-satisfied twits who ran the companies had reinvested the profits of the 50s & 60s into NC equipment, R&D and staff training! A T100 Triumph that doesn't leak oil or break down!
My dad took me all over in the 70s on the back of his. Great memories👍🏻
Classic bike
I loved mine. Went everywhere with it. Still dream about finding it in a basement somewhere so that I could rescue it and restore it.
All original???!!! WOW. Brings back memories of my first bike, a '73 CB360 twin.
They were just really lousy bikes. The Yamaha RD 350. Or the Kawasaki 400. Beat this by a wide margin. In speed and handling. Plus were way nicer than the Honda. I had SL 350 1972. It was a heavy off the road bike with little real off the road capabilities. The CB 350 was just a mechanical nitemare to keep running well. The Suzuki Samurai was the best in class .
After watching that beautiful, and beautifully running CB350 you have the unmitigated gall to say what you did? WTF is wrong with you? There's always gotta be one cucked Karen in the crowd doesn't there?
Dude why are you making us jealous? Who is in charge of polishing it? Many had this bike but few knew how to appreciate it, now they are looking for it but "the bird has flown".
These were everywhere in the early 1970's. Even in high school parking lots.
Bought mine for $85 it had one spark plug hole stripped, drilled and helicopter it put it back together and the thing ran brilliant. Also had Dunlop K81's and Koni shocks.
When I was 15, I bought a used 1969 VL350 in 1973 for $350. It had only 4500 miles on it. Took it to the beach and parked it. When i came back, it was lying on the ground. Somebody hit and ran. Clutch lever busted, gas tank dented. I somehow managed to get it home. Went to a salvage yard and found a red '73 gas tank, just like the one in the video. Ordered candy apple red side covers to match. Looked more like a CB than a CL with the different tank, so I bought CB exhaust pipes to replace the scrambler pipes. Nice ride, could go 90 mph. Later added a bigger primary sprocket and it went 95 mph.
BTW riding along with your feet on the back pegs while cruising around was so comfortable!
Had and loved that bike, same color, loved the back pressure when you let off to shift. Only drawback was it was no good on the highway, wound itself out and I was always looking for another gear. But for an in town ride, the best, no wonder a lot of them got turned into cafe racers, my gripe with that is ... Why did you have to change anything. Thanks for the vid. I built my first one from 3 frames and 12 boxes worth of parts when I was 16. I'm retiring soon and at 61 I'll do it again.
I would love to have one of these but sadly i live in india laws for import are very strict here.
Question: Which position is the choke lever in when you cold start the bike. 6 o’clock or 3 o’clock? Sweet ride that.
nice bike! What tires are those?
Been a while but I believe these were Shinko 244 dual sport tires!
'Promo SM' 👍
and who could forget those awesome 350 Scramblers?!!
Bought mine brand new for $829. I loved it. Thanks for making me feel like a was riding it again. I could "feel" and hear myself loving it.
I had one of these as well, bought used in 1978. It ran well but it was a bit disappointing in some ways. I was used to very fast two strokes like the Yamaha 350. This bike was slow in comparison. It also only got 50 mpg, which was disappointing. But it got me to work every day.
If you ever find a 73 sl 350 let me know.

Beautiful bike!
Wow like new. I had one in the one year only color of Derby Green Metallic. Great machines 1968-1973 American baby boomers bought over 250,000 of them. 67,180 in 1972 alone. When I was in the Air Force in Mississippi our pay jumped from under 200 to 350 a month 🤣. Many airmen with their new wealth went to the Honda dealer and brought these back to the base. Automobile parking for enlisted was limited so these easily parked machines were just right. It was many an airman's main form of transportation off duty. Thank you for showing this beautiful machine.
"Watch later" And I am 😁😁
25:30 why i quit the game T.T
I had a 71 CB350. If I recall, the spec said the bike has 36hp @1,0600 rpm...but the tach hit the red line at 9,200rpm. I may be wrong but the spec indicated the top speed of 110mph, but I could only hit 92mph (speed meter indicated) at 9.200rpm and felt a lot of engine vibs on my hands & feet... The bike was very reliable and I had a great time when I was in high school. Such a great bike!!
Nice💛
Needed an extra gear. Couldn't kill the engine with an axe.
I have a royal blue and gold custom paint job , Yamaha FZR 250 3LN1 from 1989 . It is a four stroke four cylinder screamer . Good at the track and fits me nicely . I learnt on the 2KR from 1987 . What do you think of these ?
My old neighbour over revved one of these and learnt the hard way , a money shift by accident then 16k rpm , let go .
Made in Japan. Benchmark of quality by skilled labor.
beautiful example
You've got '71 (*K3) badges on your air filter covers. Sounds great and looks great!
Sweet bike
Had same bike, color and all. My first bike, bought in 1985. Loved it. Had for about 3 years then she died. Next bike was a 1978 Honda CX500. Loved at first then came to hate it. Noisy valves, hard to start. Next was a 1981 Honda CB750 Custom. LOVED IT but the rust killed her. Outdoor, no garage. Next was a 1991 Honda Nighthawk 750. Ran great until 2018 when intake valve stuck. Been sitting in garage ever since.
This is over a year old is the bike still available?
Beautiful machine
Hard to find
Love mine
This is how much
Hey, I had a cl350 in the 70s, with the upswept “scrambler” pipes. Doubt there were more differences, lol. Heavy, slow, but cool. Could get the front up with enough throttle and drop the clutch. Mine needed a valve job at some point which I tried to do myself, with on;y two stroke prior experience, and mangled all the super soft aluminum they used. What a mess. But fond memories for sure.
Spicy
if you use buble HC challenge is failed lol
Only Bubble+Hearth is disallowed. Just using Divine Protection is perfectly fine.
I lost count of the revives performed! Nice work fellas!
I felt like an EMT
Great adjustment on the mirrors.
Super gepflegt. Durfte diese Maschine. 1975 in Berlin 3 Jahre bewegen. Da war sie noch modern😊. Tolles Video
I had a green one the 70s I loved it .toured Scotland and Skye with my late wife🚲🌞
My first bike was a 1973 orange version of this bike. I rode it back and forth to college in 1975. I'm 66 now and would love to find another one like it. Could you do that?
I just sold a second red bike exactly like this and I have a 73 purple iris 350 and parts 350 in my garage right now. So yes!
