sick rig bro. Did you have to run spacers? any rubbing or calipers ?
@@mrgreen859 thank you 🤙🏼 no spacer. I have a -12 offset with that I don’t have to run a spacer. No rubbing but you would need a 2 inch leveling kit at least.
Hey man, we should meetup someday with all the sequoias! Me and my buddy have a few sequoias that we’re building right now. Local to SD!!
@@OverlandSeries that’s awesome yes we definitely should do something. Do you have an IG? Mines FrankRazo.OC

@@EddieXiong-ur3bw thank you 🙏🏼
You can get a good first generation one for around $4000. They are good for 500,000 miles or more. Best value vehicle out there IMO. Maybe worth the extra hassle of buying one from a dry southern state, that way no rust issues.

4wd sequoia 05 4hi and lo lights engaged but won’t move unless it’s on dif lock or 2wd

What psi air down do u recommend for 33 n off road

Disconnected rear sway link?
It disconnected itself lol 😝
What kind of tape is that?
It’s gaff tape, it’s definitely a temporary solution. It last a few months
That is gorgeous! one love. enjoy the beauty of life. 💚
Thank you Bryan greatly appreciate it ✌🏼 thanks for watching 🤙🏼
Best tires…… the most idiot guy for off road hahahaha. Enjoy your videos dude, just ……. You need to teach Luis on off road.

What a beautiful trail and camping spot. Strange to see water flowing after being in a drought so long
Your rig so sick bro I love it , soon I’ll be asking to come meet up Witt y’all still building mines . Listen with the -12 are you rubbing ? The Uca or are u running spacers. Also how much lift do u have , I’m just got in some 17x9 -12s and got some 305/70/17 which is a 285/75/17 just a bit wider , what are your thoughts ?
Thanks bro greatly appreciate it, yes definitely hopefully you can join us soon. That’s an awesome setup. I have a 3 inch lift with OME springs and bilstein 1500 shocks. With the -12 offset you don’t need spacers. And if you have even a leveling kit, it shouldn’t rub. I think your rig is gonna look great with that setup.
On google maps, there is an "offline" maps option. You select the area. you want to download to your phone and it will keep it for a year. Then you will see where you are on the map when you don't have signal. it will not allow you to map out a new route, but if you have already mapped it out before you lose signal, it will work the entire way.
Hi I put my 2002 Sgua on 4wd now it won come off & 4wd light keeps on blinking what should I do.
Mine would do that sometimes, I would go into N hit the 4WD button and put her in reverse and go in reverse for about 10-15 feet and then go into D and reverse again. Sometimes that will pop her out of 4WD might take a couple of times. Might not work at all if it’s really bad. Mine was the transfer case that needed to be replaced.
Loooked like such a fun trip
It was a blast, thanks for watching ✌🏼
I hadn’t had the courage to see this until today. I definitely miss my Dad.
Thank you for watching it, I know it’s a hard video to watch. I re watch it and it gets me every time. But he’s definitely watching over us.
Just got my 2nd gen…. Would love to link up with you guys for a run!!! I don’t do social media though…..
It’s a Facebook group called SoCal Seqouia’s
Like your video! Seriously thinking about getting a 1st gen. I like the relatively smaller size for the capability. Big family and I want something reliable with the ability to overland and take young kids off roading in SoCal, especially OC. Thanks again for showing us what the 1st gen can do, as well as the community of Sequoia owners. Really cool to know
Thanks for watching and thank you for the comment greatly appreciated. Yea the seqouia is a great platform for overlading with the family.

I'm surprised he had so much of a problem, his center diff wasn't locked then? :(
I think it was just a bad line that was being taking.
What a cool rig! Sweet video skills too. I have an 03 4x4 limited it’s got 180k on it now. Thanks for posting the extra details, I’m going to check out that Molle panel for my rig
Thank you appreciate the comment. That’s awesome you’re gonna love it.
Hello mate. Where did you get the mesh grill? I've got a light bar and was looking at my wagon today and the old plastic thing in there at the moment is going to block a lot of light.
That’s actually the grill the truck came with, mines an 2002
Yeah that's it. My 06 comes with an ugly gappy toothed grill that breaks easily.@@FrankRazoOC
@@OutNAboutWithBrad might be able to find something similar after market.
Weird that Toyota would use an AWD system and call it 4wd.
From my understanding I might be wrong but isn’t an AWS system always active vs in the seqouia you do have the option to activate or dis-activate it.
@FrankRazoOC Because once you put it in "4wd" the fronts kick on but it's independent from the rear like an AWD is. Once you put it in 4L in 1st gear then the center diff kicks on, acting like a true 4wd. The center diff is a dead giveaway of an AWD system. Toyota has done selectable AWD before. It's called "multi mode" and it's on the 98-99 4runner. It has 2wd, AWD, and 4wd. Shifting it into 4wd is basically the same as pushing a center diff lock button.
@@ImSick0 oh ok I see what you mean you are right in that sense.
Been thinking about a sequoia for awhile. Is there a good off road market out there for them? How about lockers?
There’s more and more stuff coming out for them and a lot of the tundra stuff works on them too. Definitely a good platform.
Did you need a special drill to drill into the bumper.
Just a drill bit that’s made to drill into metal
Hey, I was in accessory mode and clicked 4wd on accident and it turned on and the center locking diff was flashing, I wanna turn this off, do I have to turn on the vehicle fully to turn it off? We’ve never used 4wd before how do I turn it off?
You should be able to just push it off while the truck is on and driving it for a bit should turn the light off. If it’s stuck try coming to a complete stop pushing the 4WD button then going in reverse for a bit that should click it out.
@@FrankRazoOC I turned on the car and it didn’t turn off, should I try driving too see? I hope it didn’t get stuck, 4wd has never really been used, my mom accidentally clicked it before and it went out of 4wd, truck has been garage kept and never drivin in snow so everything should be working fine, it also has below 230k miles
When I got mine the 4WD would do that it would get stuck on 4WD but it would pop out after driving it a bit. Mine ended up being the transfer case was bad.
@@FrankRazoOC yeah, I will never put it in 4wd again to make sure that doesn’t happen, we never used it so it should be fine.

Thank you so much.

Thank you for watching ✌🏼
what kind of light bar is that where did you buy it?
It’s a 32inch curved I got it off Amazon can’t find the exact one anymore but it was an off brand.
If you're 4-wheel drive in park, and you want to get out of four-wheel drive in park, will it still work?
Yes it will, you don’t have to go into N. I like to just to be extra safe.
@@FrankRazoOC cool. I'm having a problem with four-wheel drive. Center diff is flashing and I can't get it to stop no matter which gear I put it in
@@mikefixescars I had the issue with mine when I first got it. Ended up being the transfer case. It wasn’t cheap to fix but totally worth it.
@@mikefixescarssame thing happening to me, I just want to turn off 4wd but it turns off but then I turn car back on and it said it’s on again, and the center diff is flashing, also can you drive normally in 4wd? Or no?
@@noahh1997 mine is stuck in 4 wheel drive. Guess it's okay but can't go very fast and eventually will wear
Effectiveness? Fail rate? What prevents thieves from removing it?
Yes technically they can remove it but it cost them a lot of time and they need to be fast so the idea or hope is it detours them.
How often do we have to do this to keep 4wd working properly?
I’ve been told once every couple of months of engagement should help.
Ok ty
