This has to be the worse advise I've heard in a long time. Do you realize the averag agent only does 1 to 3 deals a year? Most agents starting out wont have the discipline to self teach themselves all the daily tasks thats required to be a successful agent or have the accountability they need to implement all the different strategies required to be successful. I dont care what office you go to, no one is going to hold you hand and walk you through transactions for free. Your going to pay a colist fee of some sort. Not saying a team is the best way to start for everyone but i believe its a good way to start for most because they provide structure, systems, tools, mentorship, and leads. Why not hop on a well oiled machine to learn the basics of the business. There's no obligations to stay so once youve learned the ropes then branch off on your own. You mentioned working on a team would have you busy 8 hr a day. If your getting into real estate to work a couple hrs a day they you should just leep your day job. This is a grind, solo or on a team. I've spoke with several agents that started off solo and closes one or zero transactions in two years and when i asked them why they didnt join a team they say becuase they didnt want to share the commission 50/50 or 60/40 with a team. Soooooo yiu chose to rock by yourself out of greed and made nothing vs joining a well oiled machine that could have made 40 to 100+k your first year. 50% of something is better than 50% of nothing. 🤷🏾‍♂️

Girl, you don’t even understand how relatable this video is! Thank you for coming out and being so honest. When I got my real estate license, I became pregnant about a month later, so I was going through all the pregnancy hormones while trying to learn the business, and it was extremely difficult. When my son was born. I had zero motivation or interest in learning the business anymore at all all I wanted to do was be home with my son, and couldn’t imagine myself, leaving him. It is still a struggle and I’m trying to find different solutions and I think I finally found one 🙌🏼
