this was a video originally edited and uploaded by Hobbes Sakuga (amazing channel, check it out) the Kemonozume parts were from a 480p DVDrip, so I found a native 1080p 24fps rip, and spliced the hd footage where the 480p footage was.

it's very common for the anime to not have as much detail as the manga, but what about when it's the opposite? (the lupin iii anime's artstyle and feel is based on the manga, not the story)

@qqyyy7739 what I'm saying is that this humor is often done poorly, And you see it everywhere in anime. It feels lazy and gross. It's an immediate indicator that the show is gonna be bad. Gurren lagann did it right in the first episode.

@qqyyy7739 i definitely don't like this rev-like attitude, but allow me to elaborate further. I expanded on why I don't like this humor, and how it is often the humor in these memes. The memes are often universally hated, except for the ones who made them. I explained my case. Yes, I'm aware that comedy is subjective, but some comedy is very much for a niche audience and is disliked by most other people. I'm not trying to win an argument, I'm just explaining my perspective.

I get some may think the lyrics sound cheesy, but… honestly, I think it’s so perfect for Apollo. This feels like an AA4 theme song with how he details a morning routine, and I can visualize him just getting ready for a trial. Gelling his hair, putting on his suit, pinning his badge to his lapel, etc. It just fits him somehow. I like how the tone changes slightly throughout the song, with it sounding slightly more righteous in the beginning (“well, how do you plead?”) then introducing the “distrust and injustice” and the “phantoms of the past”, like it’s representing the changes in his character that should have been executed right. (Like him not trusting in the legal system or not trusting in Phoenix/Athena.) Apollo has always been the kind of lawyer that values the truth above all, so I love that his lyrics are moreso focused on pursuing the witnesses rather than believing in his client. I also adore the, “when you and I unite, I won’t let it die here, no! We’ll draw the truth out and proclaim it aloud!” since it’s like he’s connecting with the player. Since AA is a visual novel, the player isn’t really mentioned at all (which, of course), but it feels nice to think of Apollo reaching his hand out to the player, encouraging them to do the “OBJECTION!” shout you can do on the 3DS.
