the version of your obedient servant they went with is much better. the lyrics are much more personal. i dont feel the hate those 2 had for each other in that moment in this version. congratulations and schuyler defeated are awesome. the stuff added in the adams administration is fun but not really necessary and cutting it was the right choice. i honestly dont know which version of the world was wide enough/ten things you need to know. i like the added information that hamiltons point of view gives you, but the gun firing, and hamilton going on an acapella spoken word poem of all the things going through his head in the split second before he dies is so powerful. its the only moment someone sings with no accompaniment. in that moment hes all alone

It’s a real shame that they couldn’t find a few extra minutes to include the reprise of Dear Theodosia. It is an honest to goodness masterpiece.

I honestly feel like I liked all of these more than the versions of the songs that made the cut, but I'm not sure how much of that is just because I've listened to the final versions so many times that they're starting to get old

Well since it’s a nearly 3-hour show, it’s reasonable to take out some song for the album. But gotta admit that with these, it completes the story of the drastic change of relationship between Hamilton and Burr😮

I would’ve loved Hamilton being an extra 17 minutes

You can definitely tell why all of these were removed, specifically the noticeable improvements to Schuyler Defeated and Your Obedient Servant. Ten Things, One Thing is the black sheep in that regard, since it fits perfectly and paints a much better perspective of the two central characters right before the story culminates.

I wish Dear Theodosia Reprise had been left in. The only allusion in the show to Theodosia's death is when Burr says, "This man will not make an orphan of my daughter." However, that would probably mean the original Schuyler Defeated (or a variation of it) would need to be kept in for context. Which I think could've been done.
