It probably has happened to some. You have to wear your protective gear to lower the possibility of things like that happening. Most products are being made to be safer than what was used in the past.

Well, I've seen them so bad that they completely take over a house. The attic, walls, and roofing. Inside and outside. Smelled really bad and had to make at least 8-10 trips for removal.

Lol yes I do go on roofs and in attics for rodents. Crawl spaces not so much. If there's enough room I'll go under but typically I get someone else for crawlspace. It definitely crosses the mind when being in these areas. I just try to get it done without too much thinking. Thanks you for watching!

How did you do this? obviously takes some savings.. Im in a similar position at a big company right now. I like helping people but hate being micromanaged and hate being pushed to stretch the truth with customers. What were your biggest challenges? Ive been in pest control for about a year at this point and one of my concerns is not being experienced enough. Im mainly worried that if I dont have an answer for someone I will have nowhere to turn. At what point did you feel confident doing it on your own? Did you have outside help or where you able to afford it on your own? Do you think anyone could do this with time and effort? What was the most difficult thing getting started? sorry if any of this sounds ignorant, honestly just want to know. Thanks for reading this.

If I were you I'd get more experience under my belt before making the jump. I used my own money to start up, the hardest thing was building a base so my advice to you is soak up as much knowledge as possible and start an LLC now so once you're ready to make the jump the LLC will be aged. Worked for a big company myself and couldn't stand the micromanagement at every turn. I now work for a small company but want to eventually go out on my own. I have just shy of 12 years under my belt and I feel it is time. Best of luck to you. It doesn't cost as much as some think. It is actually one of the cheaper start ups.
