I know I've asked you before but I don't remember what part of Northeast PA are you in. I'm also in Northeast PA I'm in the Poconos. I've bought the same unit to go metal detecting and I have not been able to go yet

In 2024 I am still having and still using my original Simplex+ and I think this is still a very capable Metal Detector. I have it with the extra coils 22 and 24. I did not buy the new Simplex Ultra. I also own other metal detectors like Minelab Equinox 800, Nokta Legend, MInelab X Terra 705 and very old Fisher F5. I think I don't need other newer metal detector.

I'm embarrassed to ask but..how do I know what version I have? I think it is the 2.77. but not sure. I never uploaded anything just using it out of the box. Bought it about 3 years ago when they first came out. Thanks!

Awesome review, do you know if there would be a reason mine would not detect gold?

Looking at the building with the holes, my guess is that it was a raised first floor, the small holes were to hold up the first floor and the hole you climbed through was a basement window. I wonder if they left because there was just too much flooding?

Actually what you have found is a family time capsule, it just happens to be in cardboard boxes instead of in a metal box or buried vault. Valuable.

I just ordered the simplex ultra 2023 model. So im guessing it should be really great.

(thought it would work as normal due to it being water proof within certain parts of the detector), on dry land and sand worked well. My first one, so still have lots to learn

It’s worst. Stop buying this brand .I’m not sure the quality is not good or I’m just bad luck . Mine stop working after digging for 4 times . The worst thing is the poor after service. There is only one guy who’s in charge in the service. How and How long it’s going to be fixed all depending on his mood.Mine detector started not working in June . Until now July 28 it’s still not fix.
