Some voiced reactions from Astarion, Minthara, Gale, Jaheira, and Minsc seems to be mostly lines reacting to the player character being hurt or needing help in battle. Look at the top left in the background, my Durge and Astarion who got knocked down. It looks like Astarion is trying to grab Durge's leg and get her attention, but she's oblivious to it (probably having a brain lapse moment). Auntie Ethel automatically started talking to Gale during the fight, and then Mayrina automatically talked to Gale rather than to my main character - resulting in her and ...
They're like the two consciouses on your shoulder telling you what to do. Astarion is the devil and Gale is the angel. I love their rivalry so much 😂

My first playthrough, I was just having fun and exploring my options, but I slowly realized throughout the story I really resonated with Astarion’s deeper themes, even though personally I find Astarion a but too haughty for my taste. Gale hit me with the “me or him” scene and I felt so bad but I had to choose A since I was playing durge and they just GET each other you know? Sorry Gale, maybe one of these playthroughs I’ll be able to resist Astarion, but not yet 😭😭

He still has the tadpole. The second he moves out of range of the prism, he'll be back under the Absolute's control.

You can summon a boar using the Ranger's Companion skill, through the Beast Master subclass of Ranger x

I absolutely love the hair you picked for your character! Is the mod available in console? Edit: I noticed your copy was pc, soooo mb. I would love to see it on the ps5 mods tho Honestly having to friendzone Gale was the hardest decision I had to do in romancing because I feel similar ways as he did.
I'm using the Tasha's Cauldron of Hairstyles mod here, I'm not sure if it's available for console, but there are some similar ones available in other mods like Silver's Hair Pack. I hope you're able to find one that works :)
I have a PS5 and just started a new runthrough with mods and that hairstyle is available!

I love "it's a shadowy conspiracy headed by mind flayers and... tax collectors" because it feels like such a Disco Elysium-ass line that gives you 1 point towards ultraliberal. Especially the ellipses that makes it seem like "tax collectors" is the main focus and not the brain-eating squid people.
I honestly thought we were going to let gale try and read the tome but seeing Astarion react like I was gonna feed it to him was even better 😂😂😂

This was so fun I'm filled with glee - I could watch these two hate each other till the end of time
Honestly this is why I think having Gale, Astarion, and Shadowheart in a party is the best group. Their banter and chemistry is hilarious and interesting
I'm currently playing as origin Shadowheart with Gale, Astarion, and Lae'zel in my party and it's so funny. Astarion tried to sleep with Shadowheart first, but was promptly shut down because I'm romancing Gale. The jealousy and snarky comments ensued, and eventually morphed into a bitchy bff vibe between Astarion and Shadowheart while Gale and Astarion begrudgingly get along. Meanwhile, Lae'zel is just over there giving Astarion nonstop shit for his annoying ass - not to mention the whole arc between Shadowheart and Lae'zel. It's hilarious and definitely my favorite run to date lol. I just wish origins had their usual banter when you play as them because I'm sure the vibes would be immaculate if Shadowheart's usual snarky comments were included
Gale and Astarion are my permanent party members because they're just weird dude's being bros I love their dynamic.

Their competition goes so well with I actually liked Gale first but then fell in love with Astarion later. Then I incorporated what happened to me in real life to my character's story in game 😂😂😂😂
