doesnt bother me as i mostly operate the excavator.but john deere we found was the better tractors.

@fordman4600 yes that would of been nice to go faster but due to dust and other site issues speed had to be kept down

do you see when the tractor is driving at the start ... a bit of advice for you .......theres an orange pedal on the floor .you should put your foot on it and push ......cut your time down a bit

Close to 45,000+ cubic m3 of earthworks, and ypu have 1 tractor and 1 excavator. Its going to take 40 years!

its a giant farm effluent pond it going to be used to store effluent from the farm cowsheds and pumped onto the farm when paddocks are dry.the solids are pressed out of the effluent and liquid is pumped 2 km to this pond we building .

so apart from the dam and what not, what are the owners planning to do with it?

@dandiggerman Draglines must not be old - in Europe wie have very new cable excavators - built by " Liebherr " in Nenzing, Austria and by " Sennebogen " in Straubing, Germany!

@remmidemmi01 dragline....gee im not that old..lol i have never had the chance to operate a dragline,but they have fast been taken over by longreach excavators here in newzealand very rare to see a working dragline in this country.

yep we constructed the road was all cut to waste had to all be cut and loaded out onto tractor/trailers i cut all the batters as we went. the job is just out of cambridge in new zealand

did you make all that road in the back ground i see some tidy work there also where is this as the hills behind look like wales

yeah can be harder depends on the situation.i was sitting bout 2 metres lower than the tractor with bucket right way around i was only able to get half buckets due to having to reach up high and material rather wet .ive spend time on mining shovels so nothing new to me...

think trailer is about 15 m3 water level.. the 7810 handles it ok with dry light soil, but when we been loading out really heavy wet swamp it gives the 7810 a bit of a work out.....lol

how big is the dump trailer? does that 7810 handle it well?

@korbe83 my boss doesnt like cabs!!!!!!! so it only got a roll bar...and most of the time we drive it is bloody raining.....lol

the komatsu longreach was by far my fav!i really love the challange of operating a longreach.but sadly not many jobs going on them in newzealand... :0(
