The Port is off loading all the containers so that the ship can head to drydock for hull repairs and it's bow possibly it's bulwark. It's electrical configuration throughout the ship will be retrofitted and reprogrammed. Once repairs are done, the ship will be examined, inspected, tested, and reloaded with the same containers. After that, it's on the shipping company until the Dali reaches it's destination where assessments will begin in accounting for useless and rotting freight, ship damages and repairs, and the destruction of the Key Bridge with lawsuits from the families of those that were killed. But...for right now the Dali is STILL a crime scene.

This is in Norfolk, VA where she first headed after Baltimore.

Won't there be containers below the main deck? Should be a lot of them down in the hull.

She's looking a lot different already. It will be something to see the Dali with nothing on her decks. Great coverage.

HOW ABOUT AN UPDATE.

I wonder how much cargo, loaded elsewhere on Dali, has been damaged by sitting idle for a couple of months or possibly from shifting from the sudden stop at the FSK bridge?

The saga continues with this ship... As we were initially told each container's shippers (insurance wise) were also apparently responsible for some of the damages caused by this boats demise.. So it will be interesting to learn if these goods can/will be released & on their way to their intended receivers....Or are they still being held as collateral ??

Thanks for the video I was not sure if there was a restriction on drone flying because of the close naval base.

Thing has been sitting for over a month since being removed from the bridge area & there's still debris all over the bow! Not doing a very good job of cleanup!

Thanks for the coverage of the Dali unloading, and the clear images of the process. Will the bridge debris be removed there, or will the ship be moved again for the removal of the concrete?

what drone do you use?

I think we need to practice positioning and do some more running drills and no stabbing because obviously no one decided to listen to coach when he taught us the new no stabbing technique
