CMMG 10 round magazines, Winchester 180 GR. cartridges, with 100% feeding I had the same issues

I'm not a gunsmith Just a Nobody but I realize when I got mine from Bear Creek that it had a lot of sticky lubricant in the chamber I cleaned it out with some carburetor cleaner lol use the Bear Creek Gun oil and she eat anything I feed her now

Why not just get rifle stock if your going to shoulder your pistol?

I just bought a 10.5” .350L upper from KMT, if Reddit is to be believed, BCA makes those barrels for KMT….. hopefully they’ve fixed the problem so I don’t have to spend a weekend polishing the feed ramp…..

Your buffer is to lite

BCA IS JUNK! They have to know their uppers are not functioning with how many returns they have! The customer services doesn't even answer the phone!! They have an automated return system on the internet. The upper I purchased was not safe and never would feed except a few times! Those few times the cartridges chambered, once ejected, Two had light primer strikes and the bullets were seperated from the cartridge. No gun/upper should leave the factory with such problems. I returned for a refund and will never buy from these scammers again

I just got done polishing my feed ramps and breech , mine will now cycle the dreded w.whitebox. if you look at the rds youll see what the issue actually is . The cheap plinking ammo is slightly swedged and catches the lip of the breech.

Mine is not accurate can’t get it to hit same spot past 25 yards I think they’re junk, which I just bought a bolt action in that caliber not really happy with the quality of these bear Creek arsenals

Always tap the rounds to the back of mag before inserting mag into the mag well..... With a little more actual firing, a break in period, maybe the gun will ru more reliably.

You took a new part full of shavings and residue and thought it would run right out of the box??? Clean, inspect, clean again. SMDH

You need to take anti-followers from pmags and put those in the CMMG 350 legend magazines to get it to cycle properly.

If you have a three fifty legend and having problems loading polish your gramps, you should stop the problem

You cannot use 5.56 magazines. You have to use the 350 Legend magazines that Bear Creek recommends, which are made by CMMG.

I get why running a brass catcher. At this point I would shoot it with out just to see if it would run at all might need to shave the mag lips so it can leave the mag and feed the gun with out it misfeeding

I have feed problems w the 150gr Win XP ammo. Jams every time. I think it's because of the OAL using the pointed XP bullet. 180 RN is fine. Anyone else have this issue?

I had the same issue with a 300blk build some years ago. A heavier buffer helped with the issue. Seems the bolt needed to be slowed down a bit. I think whenever you introduce a new cartridge into a weapon setup for another cartridge there will be some minor issues to work through. I hope it all works out for you cause there is nothing more frustrating than spending money on something that doesn’t work as well as expected.

Seems everyone has trouble with these, takes some work to get them to feed right. But once you do they seem to run. I spent a little more on a Aero and hmmm just runs. Buyer Beware.

Try an h2 or h3 buffer it may help if it's over gassed

Just make sure ur putting gun oil you could even try putting a tiny tiny bit on the feed ramp to help the nose slide in until it breaks in

The other big bore are I've had in the past had the xl upper with the single beveled feed ramp and all I've ever done was cut a smidgen where the shell catches the mag. Does this have m4 feed ramps?

Buy different ammo. I’ve been through thousands of rounds and never modified anything. I’ve never had a malfunction.

I wish I get my 350 legend to feed as good as my 5.56 rifles. I have been looking at the 223 wild, but I don't see the need as long as you are already chambered in 5.56. They say it's more accurate though!

They have permanently lost my business. Sent the wrong magazine, I paid for a 20rd they sent a 10. Their idea of making it right was sending the magazine back with up to a month turn around where my gun would be useless. So I’m keeping the 10 and passing the word to people to be careful if they make a mistake it’ll be a nightmare.

Mine had a failure to feed. They would do that as well. I took it to a gun shop in Crawfordsville who just happened to sell BCA and he said it was a burr in the gas port. He ran a bit through the gas port and I haven't had any problems since. Mine is an 18 inch side charge.

You tried this new upper a year ago and I'm curious if you still have it and if it works properly. I'm getting ready to order a 16". This will be my fourth upper from BCA as I already have 3 uppers from them with minor issues but all have been corrected. Thanks!

I have an occasional feed issue with cmmg mags. My biggest problem was getting 4 inch groups with hand loaded (hand weighed) ammo. I tossed the barrel and got something else. I'm not wasting my time with bad barrels.

Looks like you had a lot of fun, I just bought mine two weeks ago, and I love it.

The mags with the tapered bottoms also have unequal spring pressure on the round and change the feed angle. One guy put a small marble under the lower plate and didn't have any more issues with that style of mag.

Is that a left side ejection port?! I have the 16" BCA upper in .350. Love it, but it doesn't like the lighter rounds. If I run 145gr FMJ's through it, it'll jam up every 4 or 5 shots.. no issues with 180gr hunting rounds.

My 350 legend is a Ruger Ar556 and the only mags that it works with are duramags. I never had to modify a single one of them. But it won't work at all with other mags.

1st of all get ride of the brass catching bag. That generally helps with feeding issues!

It must have been the brass catcher. If you let them land on the ground. It might be beneficial for your health to bend down and pick a couple up. And no wonder I can't find a plastic barrel you have all of them.

Sound dry as hell. Maybe lube it up some maybe.

I strongly believe you should always clean your weapon before shooting it especially if it’s fresh from the factory. The grease that they put on weapons has always cause me issues no matter the weapon. Also, if you’re using a side charging weapon, get rid of the brass catcher. And if you aren't using a side charging weapon, still get rid of the brass catcher. Its only asking for FTE issues.

It’s the mags man. Make a groove in the mag so the lip stops catching.

Yep got the same problem. A person should not have to polish feed ramps or open up mags or anything when other uppers dont have this problem, BCA should make these right. I bought the upper and put it on PSA it has been nothing but problems

Just a thought. The charging handle might be catching on your brass catcher causing your feeding problems.
