Looks great! Just a couple things if you’re looking for constructive criticism- watch videos on hand placement because in the beginning you open with two fingers in different areas- this will be pulling the clay in two different areas and can lead to it becoming uncentered. Also, slow your wheel when raising ( I know the video is sped up but the jiggling and uncentered/ uneven parts is from going too fast). All in all you’re doing great!

I just happened across this video again - I had forgotten I had found it a couple years ago. I still think it is a fantastic video and your tight curls look amazing. I love the result of the red rods. My hair is currently permed on blue/grey medium sized rods. I'd love to do a red rod perm before I go short again. Are you planning to perm your hair again? The tight curls really suit you.

I don't think that is the correct way to roll your hair and I'd think regular perm rods would give better results. We used do lots of home perms back in the day. The good ole 80s.
