Chinatown Gangs: Then and Now
Youth in the 1980s, marked by violent territorial disputes and identifiable street gangs like Ghost Shadows, to the present day. The narrative shifts to describe a more organized and less overtly violent criminal underworld, involving established businesses as fronts for illicit activities like human trafficking and drug dealing. The discussion emphasizes the change in gang dynamics, from open warfare over territory to a more collaborative, less visible criminal network. A key aspect is the changing demographics and language use within Chinatown, influencing gang structures and operations. Finally, the speakers plan future interviews to further explore these themes.
A nuanced look at the evolution of gang life in Chinatown, highlighting the shift from highly visible street gangs to more sophisticated and organized criminal enterprises. It shows how the nature of the gangs changed from territorial battles to large-scale criminal operations running within legitimate businesses. It also showcases the shifting dynamics of demographics and the evolving environment of Chinatown. This provides valuable insight into the changing landscape of gang activity.

Thanks for sharing .. I grew in NYC remember the old days in Chinatown. Many summer nights as a kid having fun, Seward Park high School, basketball courts in Chinatown and the Bowling alleys and pool halls out in Brooklyn and Queens where the Gangs hung out,, the cool hair styles and leather jackets. Never no static when you know the right people.. 在唐人街的美好时光。和我的师父在唐人街练习功夫... 我们都想成为李小龍
Main PC does the wiring for John lam hotels and the owner's brother and his wife committed vexatious litigation on a building that John lam wanted. John lam was besties with HSF restaurant on Bowery and John Lam was minority shareholder at East Bank owned by The Chu Family who are the landlord for that alley as well as Silver Palace now the hotel fka joie de vivre hotel. John Lam's brother in law Bill Lam who manages 185 Canal St. was Brianna Sugg's only client and got the nyc lease for the old Yee Tung site and John Lam's partner Sandy Lam managed and co owned 185 Canal St. at the time that On Leong, Taiwan et al. murdered Peter Eng-Wong on March 20, 1991 inside 185 Canal Street but there was no vhs tape in the security camera system delaying prosecution by almost a decade during which time the chinese newspapers used doxxing to intimidate the widow, ram her teen son with a Nissan Pathfinder so that he is now epileptic and after the widow was subpoenaed in the murder case set fire to her building and send Don Lee's sister Susan with politician Nancy Tong to try to beat the widow's frontal lobe with the wooden handle of a black umbrella as well as smear her all over Chinatown as advised by a neighboring landlord while my handycam was recording him. You are correct about those 13 year old boys being exploited by the old men pretending to be respectable. How do high school dropouts get those Mott Street apartments? Guns and drugs don't drop out of the sky into their hands. Chinatown owes those generations' parents an apology and at least nominal amends but it refuses to be honest and remorseful. Chinatown is rotting from mediocrity and those tong buildings will end up in John Lam's hands anyway eg Jackie Wong is in Lin Sing as well as probably offering himself to replace witness intimidator Don Lee's Weyoun to kuomintang's Dominion in Chinese Benevolent. I'm sure that sounds better to the social climbers than transferring the 3 major tong buildings to the original victims of their manipulation incl Tina Sham and The Scientist. Because Chinatown is not a third party but an active participant and beneficiary of that drug trade and they just want these gang members exposed by FBI to die out so the boba asians can makeover Chinatown as the font of Good Will Hunting screenplays by taiwanese and likeminded honey guides like Jimmy O Yang not toisanese. But the boba asians moves creates more sinophobes while the ex gangsters do not. The latter's sot hay and sense of appropriateness in communicating with the outside world would be like a dock on sturdy pillars and they would have access to hongkong funding versus John Lam's kuomintang Bank of Shanghai funding. And John Lam expects the casinos to support a Tsim Sha Tsui hotel district. The tong buildings are not owned by anyone while the tenements are individually owned. Does Chinatown think John Lam is acquiring tenements cheap under LLCs and frontmen locking out leaseholders will SHARE tsim sha tsui with the rest of the tenement owners? Vexatious litigation is so much cheaper. A different hotelier sued Jung Wor Chin years after consulting him re building a midtown hotel but decided to go with someone else and Jung Wor Chin refused to openly support his longtime client when MAIN PC's brother Jack Lai and Alrite pharmacist wife Jenny Lam demanded column removal as leased store tenants of the building that John Lam offered to buy from the murder victim's widow one week after the lease was signed on the day (2013) that they told her the C of O had never been finalized by that same architect before the 1998 arson despite mom paying him in full. That store tenant's broker contacted the widow on the 2013 anniversary of the March 20th 1991 murder of her husband. The 1998 arson was committed on the murder victim’s birthday.

He is right Steve. Luigi is at risk of paying for protection. The vultures will be on him to extort him. He will be seen as the bag. Cause the media already made it clear that he has money. And contrary to what you're saying, to criminals if you have 1 million dollars you are considered loaded. Most criminals come from poverty. Guys are taking hits for 10k. Imagine what criminals would do when a million dollars is at stake. The crooks will try to rob and extort him. The drug dealers will try to sell him drugs. Especially because he has back pain. They will push heroin on him.

Don't forget Bernard Goetz. He was a victim. It was self defense.
Have the prison muder squad been arrested yet. If not, why?
From what I heard they have. But the AG office just accused themselves so a special investigator has been assigned. I don't know why it took them so long to do so and the reason is because some of the officers are being sued for same thing and I think AG office is representing them on it so that's why they can't prosecute so they need a special investigator to prosecute instead. How crazy is that.

Now if this mfr was able to start a movement that held the elite puppeteers accountable for the sht they put the population thru, he'd get epstein'd. Tbh after reading about neelys life, losing his mother at the age of 14, the dude was lost in life, had no guidance from young, the system failed the guy, the guy even tried to make some sort of living by impersonating michael jackson. But yh penny should of served some time, theres restraining someone and then theres holding someone in a tight ass chokehold for however long it was for him to die

Ok ya but instead of whining about what they don't get paid, maybe do some research into how and why they get what they get. You have to remember these are serious criminals here. People that broke the law by choice, ruined innocent lives forever more often than not. The fact that they are able to get a chance to work at all, to learn responsibilities and how to have respect and appreciation for themselves and for things in general, that in itself is a huge privilege. Whining about profit is ridiculous. I mean what are they trying to make so much money for? Are they sending it to any victims of their crimes? No. Also try considering that profit you mentioned probably is what goes right back into the system to be able to provide these criminals with something productive to do with their time. So be greatfull
That's the thing it doesn't go back to the prisons which it should also going back to the victims is a great idea.
@SystemUnfiltered thank you. And I apologize for coming off like an a- hole. After re-reading my comment I felt a little bad. Also, great job on your content. Very well done. I appreciate your passion and hard work. Please do keep it up!
Broke the law by choice? Asian Groups are not like Other Races. When they Join at a young juvenile age, they leave home at a young age and go to live with their Groups and are Raised by Their Leaders/ Older Homies/ Older Mentors who are somehow tied to That Life. They all mostly Come from Nothing, some from Communist Countries. The Asian Cultures is about Making Money to put food on the tables and many times, living in excess is just their enjoying things nobody in their Families ever had in their whole lives, some for generations because Asians understand what it is to be poor and hungry and not knowing what tomorrow will bring. Its not good to try to talk down on others without understanding their lives, their cultures and their story you know nothing about.
He went back at 42, dayum homie a jailbird for real
