Technology is just one way of poesis - revealing truth. But it has basically become the only one, leading to robot life, impersonalism and aleniation, leaving less and less space for beauty, love and the sweet taste of personal interaction. Love becomes reduced to sex exploitation. That is also an effect of the technological poesis.
@@shanashana8027 Yes, when technology or any material activity is connected to a higher purpose, it is not just instrumental to get a material result but supports the higher purpose and has therefore a broader impact on the world. The perspective of modern science and technology is not objective, although they claim - it is just one perspective, that of seeing the world as a mere resource for control and exploitation. Heidegger pointed out the need of a holistic perspective, and that is also the perspective of ancient Vedas of India.
