I want to draw the arrow and stick it on wood. Which paper type do i need to use ?

And do i have to change the colour in the computer matching the paper that i want to print it on ? Sorry i do ask alot of questions that might be silly but i bought cricut and never used it. The arrows will be my first project

I am not familiar with Thermoflex-plus so I'm not sure how to answer that question. What I did do, I uploaded a new file if you are interested in it. It is a file that you would be able to layer. I put everything back together on the shell, starfish and flipflop layer, and then I have the words on another layer. So you would press the shell/starfish/flipflops on your garment, then you would press the words on top by manually placing them. If you are interested in this file, visit my site and redownload the file. You will see there is a separate zip file with this layered version. You may have to ungroup several times, depending on the file. Then you should be able to select like colors and click attach.

Hi Arlene! My apologies but I guess I am a little confused. Are you saying that you cannot copy/paste from Main Type or just your computer's character map?

@@karenjl9571 my son was able to download it and put it in character map yet.. . I cannot copy and paste it into my cricut. The other thing I notice is alot of the videos the person has Samantha upright in there for on circuit. I restarted my computer and still doesn't show up in on my design space.

@@arlenesargent1615 you have to choose "System" fonts inside of design space up by the font settings anytime you want to use fonts that are on your computer. Otherwise it will only show you cricut fonts. Did you download and install the program MainType?

@@karenjl9571 I did look in systems, not there . I downloaded 3 downloads they sent me. My son put it into character map. He couldn't get it into cricut.

Hello, what kind of computer are you using? Is it a windows computer? First make sure that you have installed the font on your machine. You can unzip the files and double click on the "otf" file and then click Install. If it is already installed, it will pop up a message saying it is already installed. If this is not the problem let me know and I will try to help you figure it out it sounds like it's not installed.

@@karenjl9571 I have the same problem. I'm using Windows 10 and the Samantha font would not populate on High-logic. I've right clicked on the Samantha font > 7zip>extract files.

Hi Lydia, I do not have a Mac but I would say yes and I found this video about using this font on a Mac. It seems to be quite different than using it on a PC. th-cam.com/video/UkbMqKyZSHU/w-d-xo.html. Hope this helps~

If you are cutting this out of heat transfer vinyl, you would want to make sure you "mirror" the design before you cut.

Oh my goodness that's high! They are around $6-$7 for a three pack here. Wow. You can make your own inks from markers. I have done that, I didn't like them as well but I also may not have done the ratio correctly at the time.

I tried but same here did not like them.I use Michaels coupon's to get art supplies cheaper

Judi, thank you for watching and your comment! The noise in the background was a small air compressor. You can do this with cans of air or even by blowing the ink around through a straw but I have done so many that it was feasible for me to get a small air compressor. I agree it was too noisy for the video and lesson learned, ha! It was my first tutorial so hopefully I will be able to make the next one a bit better. Thank you again and i hope you have fun with your alcohol inks!
