I absolutely freaking love mario galaxy, last year i got a second hand wii that rotted in a closet from one of my family members. I didnt get mario galaxy with it, but i did buy it later on, and oh my goodness was it an experience. The music, the worlds, absolutely everything was spectacular about it. I ever so badly wish to experience it all over again. Thank you Nintendo for bringing us an experience we will never forget.

I might cry at a few Mario spinoffs, at key moments in the RPGs especially the first time or two, but this is a mainline Mario game that just outright makes me cry on command at this scene. Growing up, I was not prepared in any capacity seeing the equivelent of... "These children die in sacrifice, Mario's universe is destroyed and Mario dies before experiencing the miracle of a rebirth and the reincarnation of his universe in exchange for the children." Every last bit of it up to the end of the credits roll just makes me bawl as much as I did when I was 7 or so. I'm 25 now and SMG's ending still rips me asunder.
