Message to the people that responded to my comment: "Red does NOT mean hell", with "Nine Circles is referencing the Nine Circles of hell." First off, I see it as being named after the song. As are other NC lvls, secondly. It has yellow and a neon theme to it aswell which carries on through the full level, if it weren't named after the song and was named after hell. Why would it have any of that? Third, if a level like Jawbreaker is called Jawbreaker. By that logic, it is named after breaking a jaw and not the song. Which really doesn't make much sense, is the blue theme based on saliva or smt? I'm just tired of all GD players pointing out the color red and calling it hell. (Made this into a seperate comment cuz people love ignoring edits sometimes.)

as someone that considers sonic wave one of my favorite levels, this was an epic video, i have been playing the game for more than 10 years and i already knew a bunch of this remakes, it was cool to see very obscure remakes that i never knew existed.

Dude, great video! Didn't expect to find this in my recommended today. It's interesting to see that something as simple as profile picture has such a big impact on branding. Some names in this space just cannot be separated from their pfp, as they go hand in hand. I've also never thought that we as GD players are so recognisable from the outside. I mean, people used to add MC to their names, but that died out a long time ago, and it's still common to add GD to your name to this day.

i like blue I really don't have anything much to say about Sonic Wave because I'm not a professional GD player and I haven't been entrenched in the community during its peak popularity. However, I do see the impact of Sonic Wave throughout the GD community. Even the levels you mentioned, auditory breaker and generic wave to name a few, I didn't know were Sonic Wave remakes. Levels like Sonic Wave are catalysts for inspiration, to which remakes are inevitable. Like you mentioned, Nine Circles has a large family, and it continues to branch out due to its uniqueness, something that no other level can do. I can't even imagine how much research you've done for such a simple thing like a Geometry Dash level. It's the small things that people don't often see how it impacts a community. Again, great job on your video! Can't wait to see what else you make :))

Near the end of the video I realized suddenly that I myself had made a Sonic Wave remake. It was back before it was verified, heavily nerfed and greyscale, but I never ended up releasing it. To be honest, Sonic Wave is one of my favorite completions I've done, and this video was super cool to see
