I've been feeling a very similar way, nothing is stable for me...not even my social life, heh. But it is nice to know I'm not alone struggling on this floating rock in space we call Earth. I hope you and anyone else struggling are able to find some stability. ...also you arent a failure, just struggling. Struggling isn't a sign of failure, it just means you hit a rough patch. ANd besides, in this very video you spoke about solutions, you got it. Your inner voice is just a bit mean right now but don't let it stop you. Go slow if you gotta but don't stop.

Hi Taro, I also work in Japan so I relate to your life. Working here is not easy at all, people stress over the smallest details which can be so stressful . I am also not good at cleaning, I think it would be worth to invest some money in a professional house cleaner, helping out once or twice a month

Liebe Taro, du willst es vielleicht nicht hören, aber du bist keine Versagerin. Jede/r macht mal Fehler, das ist menschlich. Vielleicht sage ich dir mal aus Zuschauersicht, wie erfolgreich du bist ❤️ Du hast erfolgreich eine Sprachschule in Japan besucht und kannst japanisch nahezu auf Muttersprachlerniveau (würde ich mal behaupten), du lebst und arbeitest seit 10 Jahren in Japan (wie viele westliche Personen können das von sich behaupten), du hast neben Job und allem anderen ein kleines Nebenbusiness aufgebaut, du bist dir deiner Fehler bewusst und gewillt, diese zu bessern (das ist auch ein Erfolg) und du wirst von vielen Personen geliebt und geschätzt (zumindest wirkt es auf mich so, dass viele Menschen, gerne mit dir Zeit verbringen). Man muss nicht immer großes vollbringen, um als erfolgreich angesehen zu werden. Es sind oft die kleinen Dinge und davon hast du schon ganz viel erreicht, sicherlich noch viel mehr, als die, die man in deinen Videos sieht ❤ keiner wird traurig sein, dass du keine Manga hauls mehr zeigst, wir sind alle froh, einfach nur dich zu sehen, vor allem auf einem Weg der Besserung. Das zählt doch ❤ also bitte liebe Taro, sei nicht immer allzu hart zu dir selbst. Es werden wieder bessere Zeiten kommen 🌹✨

Hi Taro, every video I see from you I am always worried and concerned. You are always always stressed from work. I’m just wondering if you can keep this up for another 30 years, or even just 5 years. I’m not sure how it is in Japan, but people in America work until they’re 65 or even older. I don’t think this is sustainable for you. I used to work two jobs at the same time and hated my life. My house was a mess, I was always eating out, I never was able to have fun or be with friends, and I was so ANGRY and overwhelmed all the time. My life didn’t start improving until I started working just 1 job that was better than the other 2 combined. I’m wishing you the best

Liebe Taro, ich finde dich so mutig. Dass du dein Leben so zeigst, wie es ist finde ich wirklich stark von dir. In der Vergangenheit hatte ich einen Burnout und habe auch jetzt, Jahre später immer mal wieder mit mental schwierigeren Phasen zu tun. Damals hatte ich kein Selbstwertgefühl. Es hat viel Zeit, Therapie und am Ende Akzeptanz und Selbstliebe gebraucht, um das wieder aufzubauen. Du kannst auf jeden kleinen Schritt stolz sein, den du geschafft hast. In unserer Gesellschaft nimmt man es immer als "selbstverständlich" hin, dass man gesund ist, dass man jeden Tag zur Arbeit geht und dann noch zig Dinge nebenbei erledigt. Aber das ist es nicht. Erst recht nicht, wenn man irgendwann keine Kraft mehr dafür hat. Diese Erkenntnis kam mir, als ich keine Kraft mehr hatte, zum Beispiel meinen Haushalt zu erledigen. Mir hat geholfen, das anzuerkennen, was ich an einem Tag geschafft habe (im Rahmen meiner Möglichkeiten / was die aktuelle Kraft zuließ) und mich dafür zu loben. Meine Therapeutin bat mich, das laut vor dem Spiegel auszusprechen und mir gern auch mal auf die Schulter zu klopfen. Das mag am Anfang wirklich befremdlich sein, aber nach einer Weile trägt es Früchte. Man vergleicht sich leider immer mit anderen. Es ist jedoch ganz wichtig, für sich im eigenen Tempo zu gehen und sich darauf zu konzentrieren. Und wenn Dinge einmal liegen bleiben, ist das auch in Ordnung. Und es ist völlig in Ordnung, Hilfe zu suchen und anzunehmen. Wenn du dich überwältigt fühlst, zum Beispiel deine Wohnung aufzuräumen, bitte eine Freundin oder deinen Freund um Unterstützung. Gemeinsam macht das außerdem mehr Spaß. Ich habe mir vor einer Weile einmal stichpunktartig aufgeschrieben, worauf ich stolz bin und für was ich dankbar bin. Wenn es dir anfänglich schwer fällt, bitte gern gute Freunde darum, dir einmal aufzuschreiben, was sie an dir schätzen. Du wirst überrascht sein, was da alles zusammenkommt und es hilft dir sicherlich dabei, diese Dinge an dir selbst zu schätzen. Ich wünsche dir alles alles Gute. Du wirst diese Zeit durchstehen und gestärkt in deinem eigenen Tempo daraus gehen.

Everyone is a failure in some regard. Some days all we can hope to do is succeed at something small. Get up on time, cook a meal yourself, go for a short walk, any of these seemingly insignificant things is still a success. For most of us life is a lot safer than it used to be, but what replaced the stress of surviving are countless new things. Usually none are individually as stressful, but all together they can be terribly more draining. It is what it is, but there will be better days ahead.

I am prone to inflammation myself and I know how miserable it can be, it's debilitating. I know it can be annoying to hear health advice from others, but the best thing I ever did for it was to cut back on added sugar. I cut my daily added sugar intake down to 6 teaspoons or less. This doesn't include natural sugar from milk and fruits, I don't worry about that. I now very rarely have problems and more importantly if I do it subsides in a couple days, where as before it would last for months at a time. I also sleep better now, I don't even need an alarm anymore, I used to have three alarms. Whatever happens I give you my best wishes and I hope it resolves.
