When i click PTT the SWR goes above 3. And i havent gotten back a positive radio check when i talk. Any ideas why?

All you have to do is remove the 3 black screws under the black tray and pull the tray out. Power wire supply are attached to plate. Install wires and cb. Shove it back in and replace screws. Much, much easier.

When i talk, the screen reads Antenna Warning... how do i stop that from becoming a serious problem?

Real cb'ers don't use squelch. They use rf gain.

If I'm on swr and it's like yours then I switch to s rf mode then it goes above two is that bad?

I love this very much, I am some what a new users, i use use CB radios back in late 80's and it was fun. now this radio is very awesome, mine is up grated, in every way you can do it mines a 40 watts cobra 29 lx with a better mike called SUPER STAR MIC. This cb has been from a dear friend that has a technician that did the work;;; i all ready got a radio check twice on it

Idk why but when I screw in my red and black wires it doesn’t work..I had to get a cigarette lighter wire for my cb 🤦🏿‍♂️
