For those saying it’s abusive: Grazing muzzles for horses are generally not considered abusive when used appropriately. They are designed to limit the amount of grass a horse can consume, which is often necessary for horses prone to obesity, laminitis, or metabolic disorders. Proper use involves ensuring the muzzle fits correctly, allowing the horse to drink water easily, and monitoring the horse regularly to prevent discomfort or sores. Abuse would occur if the muzzle is used improperly, causing physical harm or undue stress to the horse. The key is to use the muzzle as a tool for managing the horse's health, with careful attention to its well-being.
