I wish that I could like this more than once, thanks for the help! The sunroof on my ‘18 CR V wouldn’t close all the way and leaked in water. These steps worked like a charm, the only thing you might have missed is that the windows need to be down.

I was searching for 2019 Honda HRV and this one came up. Tried it although a little confusing back and forth so many times quickly, doesn't work on a HRV. Oh well

Worked for 2019 Honda civic / I legit copied his car windows down and the door open. I followed exactly and got results.

This was really helpful! In case anyone has a similar issue, I had to open and close my door between powering my car off, otherwise the window would try to tilt when holding the tilt button. This may be a bit different of an issue since the window was no longer stuck but instead incorrectly aligned on the track - but same result!

Me again, I just tried this and got the window to tilt open but now it won't close ! I'll watch the video again and this time take my shoe off....and it's gonna rain today.

Was this in the design or just something somebody discovered as the way to fix this ? Gonna try it today...I was told it helps to run around the car backwards three times while holding your breath before doing this. Also, can I keep my shoes on while doing this ?

Does this apply to a moonroof that does nothing when you hit the power button after a battery change.?

The Honda dealership charged me $170 in “diagnostic” fees to do this. Second time it happened I came here and this solution actually worked. Lesson learned; do it yourself. Thank you!

I can't believe that this actually worked 😂😂😂.... To make sure it works, make sure you have the windows down, just like in the video. Someone also mentioned it in the comments, and once i put all my windows down and repeated the process, it worked just lime before. I am forever grateful for your video

I did everything like you say. But the thing is, actually my car doesn’t want to close, only wants to open it

IT DOESN'T WORK! i know i had the same issue and to be honest i didn't find the video steps useful but it made me think that all i really need to do is open the sunroof to the maximum... hold down the tild to close button... then the ignition to power accessories... then turn key to off.... then hold the tilt again... then.... it closed properly... to be honest i don't even know what i was doing but it worked it kinda reset the mechanism... even if you can't understand this video... just keep trying the steps and having the sunroof fully open to begin with... look it's not rocket science... it's just a power cycle and reset... try 5-6 different ways and in the end it will work because there's only so many variations of these steps you can do
