So, burning plastic is not a good idea, health wise, especially for people with breathing issues or if you have children or pets (especially birds or reptiles), but any pet really. Plastics off gas very toxic VOCs (volatile organic compounds). Just because you are using a candle flame doesn’t mean it’s not hot enough to release theses compounds. If you plan on doing this method, do it outside if possible or in a large ventilated room and wear a respirator mask. These compounds stick to the lining of your lungs and can do permanent damage and cause emphysema and COPD, autoimmune diseases and cancer. It may take a short time or over years depending on your sensitivity and other health issues. It damages lung tissue in young children that can cause serious problems when they are older and can cause life threatening problems for pets. The same goes for resins and epoxies. Those at least come with health hazard warnings and instructions on proper use.

Oh my, these are amazing. I've seen beads made from plastic, what will be different about this one I wondered ? The difference is HUGE !! Your addition of the wire spirals takes these beads from ordinary to a whole new level. At the end you had gorgeous professional looking beads that could be used for any project.
