Plenty of abandoned kittens in the countryside. This one can live on milk and when older will be useful for catching mice, voles etc. - mice come inside during the winter so best to get them before. In villages in Poland, people used to kill and eat a chicken on Sunday and make broth from the bones - 'rosol' - which was eaten on Monday. Great to see cooking like this with natural ingredients, we call that smoked bacon 'boczek' lard 'szmalec' here in Poland, dill is 'koper'.

You don't know how good of a lifestyle you have. Fresh home made dairy products . Fruits and vegetables that are natural and from your land.. many countries the seeds you plant already have chemicals and pesticides in the seed. Cows are feed grain that has growth hormones in the feed. So the milk and meat has it when you eat it. You are blessed with natural healthy food from your land and your hands. It is much healthier for you. I would pay to live the life you have. It would probably make a big impact on my health. You people are doing very good producing what you have. The world used to be that way untill greedy industrial farmers took over small family farms. You are doing a great job and showing the world there is a better way. I wish you all health and long happy lives.

I am from Zimbabwe and grew up in the countryside. We did not make cheese, we however milked cows and made sour milk ("amasi"). The cream would then be used as cooking fat for relish mostly (meat, veggies, etc). Fresh milk was consumed in tea or we would drink it fresh like that. We also milked goats and my brother would say sour goat milk is more delicious than sour cow milk. Personally didn't like sour milk, I enjoyed it fresh. The rest of the home chores were almost similar - clearing fields, herding cows, etc. Love this video, it reminded me so much about my childhood. Sweet memories.

My Dad lived on a small farm that produced food to feed the large family. Chickens, two milk cows , and a horse as well as a large garden for potatoes, turnips, carrots,beets and leafy greens. I recall the hay to feed the animals was cut with a horse drawn cutter, raked just like in your video, loaded on a horse drawn wagon after drying with pitch forks, then unloaded with pitch forks into the barn's hay loft. Everything in Nova Scotia,Canada is done with machines now. I miss the olden days where life was much healthier even though harder ! Love your videos and peaceful life . 👍👍👍🙏🏻♥♥♥
