That is the color combo that I love. Beautiful! The cloth interior in blue looks much nicer to me than the leather.

Has Jay Leno seen this ? He has one similar. I'm not sure of the year though. I think it's this one. Same gorgeous color. Just a couple months ago when Jay was burned/injured, he returned to the hospital to gift the staff with doughnuts in appreciation for their excellent care. On his way home he stopped at a gas station and. he put gas into his awesome dark blue whatever year Cadillac and off he went, leaving me gasping and constantly in search for the car. I'm tellin' ya', if Leno sees this he'll go nuts. Thank you so much for sharing this. It was fantastic.

My parents had both a 55 & a 59 Cadillac. You had to be right next to either one of them to hear them run.

You can easily spend over $100,000 on fixing one of these up. Nothing is common to other Cadillacs. The gauges are peculiar to this model and are very difficult to get to work properly. You have to have a mechanic who has worked on one to be able to fix its many problems. They didn’t work well when new.

The 1958 Eldorado Brougham was the last to built entirely in America. For the next two model years it had a body handcrafted in Italy by Pininfarina.

Beautiful Biarritz and great attention to detail but was wondering why there is a brake line, or is it a fuel line, running under the passenger side rockers.

Beautiful, simple gorgeous. Factory FM radios in cars first came out in 63 I believe, so if it is an am/fm then that’s not the original radio, as stated.

ONE OF THE FEW SUICIDE DOOR CARS I'VE SEEN WITHOUT A B-PILLAR. IT LOOKS A LITTLE TIGHT IN THE BACK SEAT, ALMOST LIKE A COUPE WITH "CONVENIENCE" DOORS.

The speaker says "all of the fits & the gaps are PERFECT".. Visually, I can see virtually ALL of the panel gaps are way off ; although appraiser must also feel with fingertips to accurately judge the straightness as well as visually..

It's a shame that Cadillac the first to before Lincoln to come out with coach (suicide) doors they made getting in and out of so much easier, profoundly exquisite the 57 & 58 year's of the best appointed Cadillac's ever built! I would love to sit in the back seat go for a ride and have a sip of scotch out of the Cadillac shot glass!

It is a beauty, but I gotta say my eye is more inclined to the 59 and 60. Perhaps the 59 was the pinnacle of design.

59 is a cheaper car. Strange maybe but it was cheaper to transport a ordinary 59 to Italy and "brougham" it there and then transport it back to US than handbuild them like they did with the 57-58 at the Fleetwood factory.

My dad once owned a 1958 Cadillac. I believe the radio was only signal-seeking AM in 1958. The whitewalls on the tires were wider too!

"opening the suicide doors"..as he opens a standard door..."passenger side is equally as clean" as he shows the drivers side, sorry I'll stop. I lied wtf "win-wing"? it's a wing window not a window wing..."starting the car"...you said you had it running, which obviously it was not, no engine noise...smokin' the good shit

"Where can I get me a Cadillac car? I don`t have it now but I can get it (gid it)" - Gene Vincent and his Blue Caps- Maybe some day, some way I will get my dreams come true and I will be the owner of one of the most wonderful car on this world!

GM sold these back in the day for 25000.00, in 1958 an astronomical price for a car but I understand GM lost money on every sale. I recall that Jack Wrather of oil, radio, TV, hotels, Movies etc. owned a black with stainless model. He owned the rights to The Lone Ranger, Sargent Preston Of The Yukon, and Lassie. He built the Hotel at Disneyland when Walt ran out of Money building and developing his first amusement park. Disney offered to buy it two years later but Jack knew a good money maker and would not sell. They were still best friends for life.

Correction, these cars sold for $13,000 + , gm lost $10,000, you're correct to say $25,000, but they sold for $13,500..a lot of money back in the day.

Nice! SSroof is cool, with Copenhagen blue finish. Stunning. Is that a/c factory-installed? Does the engine number match the body plate? Video is thorough, which I appreciate.

What an absolutely stunning car. I could spend the better part of an afternoon just sitting and looking at all the design elements from different angles. As it was intended to be, it is a testament to what skilled American craftsmen and American technology could accomplish when the beancounters were left out of the equation.
