I love how alien this track sounds compared to the rest of the soundtrack of this game. It's perfectly fitting, considering Young Xehanort is *literally* an anomaly. He's the main force who kickstarted the entire plotline, and yet he is NOT supposed to be here. His presence alone pretty much defies every law of the world we know.

That moment when you realize Young Xehanort has the same voice as Black Doom in Shadow Generations. CHAOS CONTROL!!

Absolutely love how in KH3 the fight at the graveyard is like a game to him saying things like “hey watch it” and how he balances his blasters on his fingers nonchalantly he’s really just killing time till the Master comes back

2:01 to 2:25 has to be my favorite bit I love the Violin here it was stuck in my head for days after fighting him and I couldn’t figure out where it was from until I remembered this song lmao, I was too busy dealing with his time stop crap to realize what a bop this was

We fought him as Sora in KH2, and he was messing around because he knew the plan was doomed to fail. We fought him as both Terra and Aqua in BBS, and he was ordered to screw around to buy time on both occasions. We fought him again as Sora in KH3, and he faked his death because the fight was pointless. The day this dude stops holding back, we're gonna get one of the most legendary boss fights ever.

I swear Young Xehanort’s theme is pure bliss..especially when he stops time, the piano syncs in and the music after that… oh and did I mention about Ben Diskin’s voice that is so smooth like chocolate?😊

You can hate the Kingdom Hearts series for all the weird shit it did with the Story and with all the Spin-offs becoming cannon etc. But damn, you CANT hate the Music. Its physically impossible.

To this day, the only Data battle I can actually beat without E-Z Codes. I can honestly say it's this music that keeps me going.

Although not many people end up seeing it, I think in Dream Drop Distance that his boss in that is so cool for the rewind mechanic where if you don't beat his second phase before the his clock reaches a full rotation of the hour hand then you are brought back to the start of phase one (although he will only have 2 bars of health any times this happens in the restarted phase 1

When I first heard this I was thinking: "Bro am I playing Sonic now?" The techno music mixed with classical kinda reminded me of sonic music ngl

The 13 Dilemna remix feels like a culmination of every encounter the protagonists have had with Braig/Xigbar to this point. Almost like an adventure through time from BBS all the way up to KH3. And now that we know of Luxu's age-old quest to find the truth for himself and to fulfill his mission for MoM, that adds even more brevity to it. Nothing short of a masterpiece of a composition.

While I'd probably call YX one of the easier data battles (at least of the ones I've actually fought) I can certainly say he's one of my favourites. He really flexes his time stopping here, and especially in his DM (even if it is honest to god not very threatening), it's a joy to play through and he's really satisfying to bring down after the un-fun hell that was DDD YX and the disgusting nonsense that was BBS MF. And, of course, this music adds to it something fierce. Love the muffled effect during his time stops as well, it's just brilliant.

The perception of time only matters to those that don't care.
