Ultimate AeroPress Recipe by James Hoffmann
James Hoffmann’s Ultimate AeroPress Recipe
This simple, quick, and tasty recipe from James Hoffmann removes many AeroPress misconceptions, such as rinsing your paper filter and preheating your AeroPress. James also prefers to swirl, not stir.

Steps:
1. 200g of water (brought to a boil and used immediately).
2. Put the filter into the cap. Don't rinse or preheat the brewer (it doesn't make any difference).
3. Put coffee into the brewer and give it a little shake.
4. Start a timer and add 200g of water, aiming to wet all the coffee during pouring.
5. Immediately place the plunger in the brewer.
6. Wait 2 minutes.
7. Holding the brewer and server, gently swirl to break the crust. Avoid creating a vortex.
8. Wait 30 seconds.
9. Press for 30 seconds.
10. Serve and enjoy your coffee
Water temperature tip:
For light roast coffee, use water brought to a boil and use immediately (99°C).
For medium roast, try water at 90-95°C.
For dark roast, aim for 85-90°C.
