That's a European opinion that does not match oral literature. We may be genetically similar to Congolese because Bantus are possibly a mixed race of Nilotes/darker skin Africans and lighter skinned Semites and possibly Europeans. (The Suez Canal was not constructed until 1856, and so, before that, even Europeans could travel overland from Europe to any part of Africa.). But oral literature suggests that Kikuyu moved South via Ethiopia and other Bantus in Kenya such as the Luhya moved South from Egypt through Uganda. The PCEA for it's part has unpublished literature that suggests that the protokikuyu were a group of Egyptians and Hebrews who would accompany Pharaoh to worship on Mt. Kenya. Only Pharaoh was powerful enough to fight off the Maasai. That is why pyramids were built in Egypt in the shape and form of Mount Kenya. That way, even Egyptians back in Egypt did not have to come to Kenya to worship on Mt. Kenya.. The Bantus in Southern Africa also say they were forced South. A group of interest is the Bakongo of Angola and the DRC. They may have been the builders of the Sphinx of Giza. When they moved South, they may have been the builders of the Great Wall of Zimbabwe. These stories do not match the narrative of Bantus moving into the DRC then spreading to all Africa from there.

@@patrickndichu3905 We are more interested in the phonetic derivation rather than the exact spelling. For example, Nairobi and Nailovi are phonetically almost identical but have different spellings. But they both have the same meaning.

@@Mwarimûgaitho You may need to verify that statement. There is ancient Hebrew and modern Hebrew. Kikuyu and other Bantu languages seem to be phonetically close to ancient Hebrew. Your channel is quite interesting because you are also pointing out phonetic similarities between Kikuyu and modern Hebrew, which suggests a link between ancient Hebrew, modern Hebrew and Kikuyu/other Bantu languages. Just the same way that Jerú therema may suggest the origin of the word Jerusalem, there are a few other Kikuyu words that more accurately represent a context than academically accepted answers. So it's possible that Kikuyu is more similar to ancient Hebrew than other Bantu languages.

In a finding done by the PCEA that was never made public, the protokikuyu were a mixture of Egyptians and Hebrews who would accompany Pharaoh to worship on Mt. Kenya. The Hebrew descendants appear to have maintained Jewish customs, which is why so many Kikuyu customs match the teachings of Moses. The Egyptian descendants on the other hand continued worshipping Egyptian gods, which is why there is worship of Osiris in some Kikuyu customs. The conclusion was that devil worship in the Church was not only due to Freemasonry but the influence of the Egyptian line of Kikuyus who continued worshipping Egyptian gods. At minimum, there was definitely some interaction between Hebrews and Kikuyus. The fact that some Kikuyu families have maintained Jewish customs and may in fact have been the catalyst for many kikuyus accepting Christianity(due to the similarity of the teachings and the culture they already practised)suggests that the Hebrew/Kikuyu connection may have been more than just mere interactions. So, based on the PCEA findings, some Kikuyus, not all, are of Hebrew descent. Good question. Waithira is derived from the word itherania or guitherania which translates to making progress or understanding. In Hebrew the word 'ASAR' means making progress or to progress.
