We have too many stealth campers in CA, I think most call them homeless. Act pretty similar to what you're doing though.

If you act like you belong somewhere and not run or hide you will be left alone…criminals run and hide from police. Have fun stay safe.

Stealth camping is so much fun ! Its been a while since ive gotten out this summer i plan to almost every weekend i have i did get a new atacs camo sheet to cover sides that face any possible eyes the atacs works really well at concealment just have to figure out which one works for your area

I have never seen a 2 person stealth camp video before. I've watched alot of stealth camping videos too. I used to live in the woods and stealth camped for about a month and a half during winter while working at wendy's. Recreationally homeless. I gained so much resilience during that time, and such has contributed to other aspects of my life positively. I miss it to tell you the truth, but I'll get back out there soon. At first I a-framed a tarp even during 9°F weather which left it open, but I like being exposed to the elements like that. I had 2 sleeping bags combined and laid there watching youtube videos. My family was really worried but everything was under control. No need for a fire with the correct knowledge and equipment within reason. Then I made a tripod out of tree poles and paracord and wrapped a camouflage tarp around it which was really cool. Tarp and bushcraft camping is my preferred method of camping. Just a tarp and paracord is all I needed. I'm very excited for winter and just had a bunch of good winter clothes shipped. I'm absolutely enamoured by the winter now. I highly suggest learning some basic bushcraft shelters. The less you can rely on things from stores and other conveniences if society. That is especially so these days as society is becoming increasingly unraveled

As far as cooking in the cans, you should be fine with Campbell products, the reason some say its a bad idea is because of the BPA lining used in food cans, (the BPA being a endocrine disruptor), in 2017 Campbell's discontinued BPA lining, the transition to new liner started in 2012 The lining Campbell uses is made of acrylic or polyester materials and does not contain BPA. The Lid may contain Very minimal BPA According to the Can Manufacturers Institute, the BPA endocrine disruptor in cans is a matter of the past. Allegedly, about 98 percent of modern food cans have no BPA-based linings. Instead, they use acrylic, polyester, non-BPA epoxies or olefin polymers that are developed to avoid endocrine activity. If I cook directly in the can I use very low temps or will place the can in a pot of water and simmer the water. What is an endocrine disruptor? a chemical compound that interferes with the normal functioning of the endocrine system and the reproductive and other biological processes regulated by it. "endocrine disrupters might disturb the precisely coordinated sequence of events underlying fertilization in several ways"
