Great version of nerdy wow
niccce
Lol warped tour crowd, no clue at all! Lol
Derek on a tele?
Opposite of December is probably in my top 5 albums ever. What a masterpiece.
What venue?
Just In case anyone was wondering that mist was water being sprayed into the crowd! Water, love it. Imagine being the pit while ots 99 degrees out whilst some angry buds are playing.
what a great fuckin' great set. and they sounded fantastic!
emo metalcore emocore

Anyone else here in 2024?
Hey 🤘
What’s the 2nd song they played?
if you are mentionning the one at 4:50 it is "Christmas Steps" on the album Come On Die Young (very nice album you should listen to it bro)
@@matheomiglietta9275 thank you so much it pumped me up, that opening riff is kinda like the vibe me and my friend and brother are playing
This was right after Requiem for a Dream came out so you know they went hard. East Coast x hardcore 4 life baby
Jake Baldino playing bass
19:54 Got to love Dryden’s dance moves.

35:58 launch ramp !
I was there. It was lit! Them then TAP ROOT, then Lincoln Park. It was awesome!
I wish the video quality was better.
For 2001 this is amazing quality.
Don’t wish your life away bro
Listening to this in the background whilst sitting at my desk working. I'd never heard more than a couple of songs of theirs, and I just found myself headbanging the f#ck out without really realising...whoops. must have looked hilarious. Il be going back to check them out though now.
Back when hardcore pits were dangerous
Opposite of December is one of the best metalcore albums of all time. Let that sink in.
touring the dreadful 'Rock Action'
the first album that Barry Burns ruined. He's had quite the run.
This will go down as one of the stupidest comments in the history of TH-cam. You’re entitled to your opinion, but this particular opinion is absolutely fucking moronic. Seek the help you so desperately need.
Love mogwai , been part of my life for over 20 years and still such a consistent band...never fail to impress and always on top of their game
Same
20:05 🔥
This is sick
Damn they sound absolutely perfect here! One of my all time favorite bands, top 3 for sure.
Love, live, and die...by the 'Gwai!!
6:59 the way Daryl leaps into shot 😆
Solid fucking gold, pure rock n roll
so excited for YCBY in chicago 20 year anniversary
Legendary footage. Thank you for sharing it!!!
Setlist is 🔥🔥
My god, Bert's screams in this one. Wow. Hurting as fuck.
Still here with my heart after 20 fucking years...
Love early AAF. Dryden Actually sings great here❤
Ss recognize! So early. Wow!
S.S. Recognize was actually on their Greatest Hits LP from 1999. It was re-recorded and added as a track for TruANT. Same with "These Days."
@@kms311 it was also on their 1996 EP, 1999 EP and was recorded for anthology, I believe it is their most released song and despite maybe smooth criminal also their most recorded song with wish coming in a close third
Holy fuck .... they sound amazing live. And his voice. Wtf?!!! How come they aren't more well known?!?!
Been wondering that for years and years myself
They are the godfathers of metalcore. Huge back in the early 2000s, signed to a major label, etc. Shame that the younger generation doesn't know about them.
Buddy they’re very well known. They’re pioneers, if it wasn’t for them there wouldn’t be a lot of metalcore bands around.
@@draculamountain They're definitely a band who helped pioneer but not sure about “godfathers” when that's more like Integrity, Earth Crisis and Converge.
@@heelgilli would definitely think they are godfathers converge, and earth crisis never really got that mix of cleans and screams that we see as the structure for modern metalcore.
25:15 Daryl had some interesting moves lol.....
20 years ago. Damn…

why was i born so late i literally wouldve killed to see the used in their prime (still love them now tho)
i saw them in 2003 at warped. one of the best shows i’ve ever seen
@@keithwaynejones that’s awesome man i would’ve killed to see bert jump off the speakers into the crowd in person for real </3
From 2002-2005 I seen the used live like 5 times. I am so proud of that. So many bands you miss their primes. I was lucky enough to experience it with this raw band. Lucky enough to hear Burt screaming in his youth.
Great vid. I’m bro in yellow shirt and can also see corujo steele and JT

This band was amazing. You come before you was a masterpiece and still holds up till this day. Very timeless.
Opposite of December is my favorite ..but yeah you come before you is awesome too!
Tear From the Red is the masterpiece. But who am I kidding, they all are!
I grew up with all the old albums, but Versions is my most played album. It takes awhile to grow on you, but it's just a unique album with a sound of it's own.
Masterpiece really is the best word to describe it. The songwriting, the production and the performance are all flawless, also a defining album of my adolescence. I’ll never forget listening to this album with headphones, while rolling my face off, and just being in absolute awe that something could sound so painful, yet so beautiful. Moreira’s vocals are so raw and honest, yet every inflection perfectly calculated. The way he weaves in the singing with the harsh vocals is fucking HAUNTING, nobody does it quite like him. ❤ The album transports you into a foggy dreamspace of frustration, regret, and agony. Few vocal performances truly express genuine pain and sorrow, and feel as real as Moreira’s on You Come Before You. This is one of those albums I can come back to 20 years later, and it still hits just as hard - if not harder. It’s also played a big role in my own songwriting, especially when it comes to going for that “haunted” minor vibe. Shit is a straight gut punch to the feels, and easily in Top 3 best hardcore albums ever. Criminally underrated.
Burt no longer screams👎
But he once did and it was amazing.
2003 was the best Warp lineup ever.
Amazing upload. Love that they are rocking a Kinison shirt too.
