Enki was the god of water that went down to the foundational waters that the whole Creation is founded upon called the Abzu and ruled over these Abzu waters just like how the Son of Man Jesus the Christ came from God in Heaven down into the world and overcame the world and thus ruled over the world so that He was worthy to die for His people Israel who were lost in the world and brought them back to the light in God. The Son of Man overcoming and ruling over the world was Him also naturally ruling over the Abzu because the created world is founded upon the Abzu the deep dark waters that the whole Creation is founded upon. A sign that the world is indeed founded upon the deep dark waters is that when night comes upon the earth when the sun sets these deep dark waters that the Creation is founded upon is revealed which is why it becomes dark in the night because the world is in the deep dark waters.
