I am having a problem watching this. I still see subtitles, but they are not in English! No one else commented about this, so maybe it is just me. Any idea what I am doing wrong?

Engraçado. No livro eu amo o Daemon, na série eu AMOOOO o Aemond, provavelmente por causa da atuação ímpar do Ewan Mitchel! Depois que a Maelys explode no chão e mostra ele olhando pra baixo, sem sorrir nem nada, como se pensasse “serviço feito”. Eu achei fantástico. Ele tentou matar o irmão sim, ele é o próximo na linhagem.

Eu acredito muito que o David é filho da Kate 😂 tem a questão de recriar outra pessoa no voo do Ajira. A Kate seria a Claire haha eles tiveram a última noite antes de voltar pra ilha.

I think the zoom on the necklace in the hands of the dead bald guy implies he committed suicide. There's no other cinematic reason to delibirately go to close up shot of the necklace. 1. Possible hit-man that Jin's father would send wouldn't know about the necklace but even if they knew there's no reason to put it in the bald guy's hands before throwing him down from the building as it would clue the police it's woman related and it could lead the police to his relationship with Sun, which would potentially attract police's attention to Sun's family, etc if they somehow find out about their relationship... The hitman don't need to send a massage or anything with the necklace. Putting the necklace in his hands would serve no purpose to Sun's father's intentions. So, zooming to the necklace suggests it's not a hit-man related fall, it clearly suggest he jumped thinking about Sun and their relationship. 2. In real life, it could be that he just himself wanted to hold a souvenir of Sun when he realized he can't have her after Jin's violent visit, and then a hitman came and threw him down while it was still in his hands. It's quite possible scenario for real life, but it doesn't work as a cinematic language. We know they deliberately showed the necklace to imply something and it couldn't have any other meaning than "suicide" regardless of what's possible in real life or not. However, sometimes in movies or tv shows (especially in tv shows as they're longer and aren't generally written start to finish) they deliberately visually imply something like that in cinematic language but decide to reveal something contradictory later just because it's possible in real life. So, I wouldn't be too surpised if a future episode showed he was thrown down by a hitman but they never did it so I think the initial "implication" stands.

To be frank, I don't blame Sun for cheating if that's called cheating at all. Because Sun already long decided to escape from her husband (and her father) when she was involved with the guy. She began to learn English to escape and their relationship was only teacher-student until her English was perfect. So, the "affair" is definitely long after she decided to escape. She knows she will never get a proper legal divorce (because her family won't accept it) and escape to USA, she long time ended her marriage in her head, why would she care about being faithful to her husband if she's already decided she will begin a new life in USA? She already knows she will someday be with other men in the USA, why would she care about that on-paper marriage she's actively planning to escape from? But, I'm a little disappointed in her lying to Jin on the island after learning about the baby, because at this point she decided to stay with Jin again and their relationship is getting better. So, she should have come clean to Jin in that scene in 2nd season but I also understand it was really hard to tell the truth because they were just reunited after being separated on the island. It would be devastating to both of them and potentially ruin their relationship which was still in early healing stages. Really hard to reveal such a thing just after learning you're pregnant.

I don't know anything about US baseball World Series but a quick Google search tells me you're most probably wrong about the Red Socks thing. According to Wikipedia; the 4 world series finals games were played between 23rd and 27th October 2024. As far as I know, the later half of the Season 1 wasn't written so early (just about a month) after pilot episode aired because they initially ordered less episodes and waited to see if the show will be worth for more. I think that line was 1st used in 16th episode of 1st season. I don't think they've gotton to writing episode 16 just a month after the Pilot aired. I think they included that "That's why the Red Socks wouldn't win" line because Red Socks couldn't win the series since 1918 which is their 5th win without losing any final series and they happened to win it in 2004. After 1918, they lost 4 times in the finals. I'm guessing their losing reputation became a myth and a joke in the US (similar myths and jokes happen for football in our culture) and because the final series was played a month after the crash date, the writers thought it would be funny if Jack inherited that "saying" from his father but he couldn't have witnessed or even know about their win after almost a century, missing it so closely because of the crash. Another amusing detail (which I really doubt to be intentional) is that the in-show dates of the Island events of Episode 16 also happens to be a month after the crash which funnily coincides with the final series games dates of real life, which means when Jack said the line to Sawyer; the finals series games could hava been ongoing at the same time. A crazy funny theory of mine would be Jack's comments about Red Socks on the island made the island interfere, end the Red Socks "curse" and made them win. Or maybe their curse was related to the island like Hurley's numbers curse and for some reason Jack's comments broke it.

It seems highly unlikely to me that Jin's betrayal comment has anything at all to do with Sun's affair. We've just seen her flashback, but HE hasn't. He's simply responding to the situation they are currently in on the beach. It would be very weird if he randomly brought up his knowledge of the affair at this moment in time. Plus, we've seen nothing to confirm that he knows about it, even now. If he'd known exactly why he'd been sent to kill Jae, I'm convinced he would have actually killed him. And, on that note, Jae definitely jumped...the pearls are deliberately focussed on after his fall, which confirms this for me. This episode often feels a bit 'overlooked', but I've always really enjoyed it ❤

Eu só queria apontar que Vhagar é lembrada com a rainha dos dragões pelo tamanho e pelo históricos de guerra dela, que Meleys (a dragão vermelha da Rhaenys) foi a mais veloz da história de Westeros, e também é importante lembrar que Rhaenys sempre quis ter o fim como uma montadora de dragão, por isso ela não fugiu da batalha com Vhagar, e a ligação entre Rhaenys e Meleys foi uma das mais fortes do livro.

There are a lot of things that can be said about Sun's father. But I think that in this episode, he did a good job of "correcting" Sun's mistake. He tried to instill in her the responsibility for her actions with her lover like with the glass ballerina. I think he respects Jin. If that wasn't the case, he wouldn't have allowed his marriage to Sun. It's because of this respect that he doesn't tell Jin about Jae Lee. He even gives him the opportunity to get revenge without him knowing. Because we can think that if Jin knew, he would have killed Jae. And then, he could have hired a killer for the dirty work too. In short, the father teaches his daughter that there are always consequences, he also protects the marriage of the 2 Koreans, and also the honor of the family. It's something honorable, I think, on his part. For once.😊

O CRIADOR da série falou que soldier boy vai se juntar ao homelander eles ficarão juntos pai e filho e soldier boy vai comandar os supers em missões, e outra a boatos por ai que estão dizendo que o final vai ser o soldier boy tirando o poder do billy e do homelander e eles lutando até a morte sem poderes por isso soldier boy vai voltar nessa última temporada como 1 ponto importante

apesar de adorar a série, eu sempre disse que Lost poderia ter acabado na season finale da quinta com aquela tela em branco. Essa é a primeira vez que curto a sexta temporada de ponta a ponta. muito por já ser algo do passado e nostálgico mas especialmente por ver a paixão que o Rodrigo tem pela série e entender que é uma temporada sobre os personagens e pra você curtir a incrível jornada que foi tudo isso. congrats, guys! 👏👏👏👏👏
