👍… I wonder, over the course 3 hours, what percentage of the time were you coasting or finding waves or bumps? I have been playing (self teaching?) with an OC-1 on a mostly flat lake but plan to start going into the ocean more as I am only an hour from Oceanside or Dana Point in SoCal

Johann do these canoes have a foot operated rudder or just a skeg?

How good is it to get those 1,2 or even 300 meter runs on a wave!? A surfer will always out-run a more experienced kayaker because they know when to put in those hard strokes to get that run!

In my part of the world, (Dana Point, CA), conditions like that would result in cancellation of the event! This is pretty hard core paddling! It looks like a ton of fun, but I think it is still out of my league.
