Testing Paint Colors on My Work CR Kai Wheels

I can't decide what color to paint the "new to me" Work CR-Kai wheels I picked up for Diva, the 2005 Subaru Legacy GT wagon. I do a quick paint job to try and help me figure it out. You can help me decide by voting on my Instagram post about it. I will be deciding on a color, or maybe both, by Monday August 19 2024. pC-scPDfuEcB/?igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA

    Is it worth swapping it over? I am from the uk and have an important estate with a 5eat and want to go manual too!

    • @NiKaNoKo
      @NiKaNoKo 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I think it definitely depends on your situation. It is very time consuming and also very expensive. I probably spent close to 15k USD swapping this over. You can do it for less if you do the work and don't go for an aftermarket ECU or fully built transmission, but it'll probably still be between 5-10k USD when done. My car already had a ton of work done to it and was a rust-free example so to me it was worth the cost and hassle. If you've already got a vehicle that's kind of rusty or maybe doesn't have a ton done to it, you might be better off selling your car and buying a manual transmission version if you can find one.

    Do you have link to the bushings you got. I’m rebuilding the entire front end of my wagon and I got the sway bar completely loose. I didn’t drop my subframe but I did make a little custom 13mm wrench from an old ikea furniture one. The more square style bushings I got don’t fit over the bar at all.

    • @NiKaNoKo
      @NiKaNoKo 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You kinda have to measure your front sway bar first and then get the Energy suspension universal kit that matches the mm. I'll have to look back and see if I can find the one I got. Still had to use a bunch of washers to make it work.

    I just bought a 2001 Taurus Wagon and it has some clunking going on in the front. I'm concerned it's the sway bar bushings as well. Pretty sure you would have had less struggle if you made 2 cuts on each bracket instead of 1 and then trying to pry them open lol.
