Not quite a barn find. I don't like classic cars going to scrap, so I decided to rescue this Mercury. I think it's a good project for the shop, but it's gonna take a lot of work.

Somehow I've made 100 videos. I'm not sure how to feel about it. Really, I just want to build my car, and maybe get TH-cam to pay for it. The 65 Mustang Coupe you see is my drag and drive style build, done completely in my own shop.

The front suspension on the Blackpowder Mustang is to a point where we can now see how the tires sit in the fenders, and how close we got to the correct ride height. Now I can order wheels with the correct backspace

65 Mustang Frame Upgrade

Thanks for the info. I was contacted by these guys the other day and was getting to contact the actual Tech Zone Audio support page, not the one they linked in the email, to confirm its legitimacy. This saves me an email. Kind of sucks, but oh well. Them's the breaks.

Yep, I just noticed I got one back in Feb. I thought it seemed fishy as it said extra charges will not be covered and nowhere said free. I looked into the store on amazon, can't find it. Googled the name, found all the scam vids. Glad I listened to my gut.

I just started a Buy me a Coffee Campaign to buy a microphone and they immediately contacted me with this scam. The are probably looking on supporter sites like BMC and Patreon for people to try this on.

@@NathansMoparGarage it depends on if I check the box for "notify subscribers and push to feed". I usually get more views when I dont check it... but then some people dont see uploads. I'm not sure which way to go.

The idea is to add vertical structure (perpendicular to the floor). It's the same principle as pushing a dimple die through a piece of sheet metal. It adds resistance to torsional movement.

Man I do CADD for a living, but very rarely do i use it on my project car. Maybe some 3D printed stuff. I use the same card board aided design process you do in the garage. i find out far more rewarding.
@@Kenncwh lemme tell ya, if I could scan the whole car and then use solidworks on that model, I would be in heaven. Carboard is fun, but having real measurements would be satisfying
