Got mad love for Accords. My first car in high schoolwas my parent's 98 Accord , 2 door V6. I got so many speeding tickets in that thing. The transmission in that thing was awful though. It gave out in 2013, we got it changed, then again it happened again so we got it rebuilt and sold it to my dads neighbor. That guy still has it in his driveway today and has given it the care I never could. Every time I see it, it makes me smile.
6th gen accord is a great car engine wise transmission is the only negative they go out 180k miles the accord was my high school car. first car I got so In love with the car when transmission went out decided to j32a2 swap 8 yrs owning mine Appreciate for sharing your accord story 🫡🙏🏽🙏🏽

Yes is possible just take the 350z rotor to a machine shop to drill a 4 lug pattern holes
Or change your hub to a 5 lug?
What did you manage to do with the butterfly Valve? Did you delete it? Also I've been stuck on not finding any info on the secondary throttle body I guess deleting it and bypassing has been the issue

Sure they are 2 ways So what I got is a Type s 2003 cl auto but install a 05 accord 6 speed manual So get the harness from the cl and get all the sensors from the auto transmission and install. ground the ignition relay And immobilized the ecu from the cl open the ecu and take out the chip on your left side
Quick question on the swap, do you know if the j32a2 with the auto transmission is an easy swap like the 6speed?

Yea you can get a 00 to 03 type s automatic engine and transmission is a super easy swap plug and play no modifications on a v6 6th gen accord

I have a 6 Gen as well and ive been looking for info like this you are a legend. My only question is what changes did you have to do to the accord. Like motor mounts any changes in wire harness, axles Etc.. just looking for insperation lol

It’s running with the check engine because my vtec solenoid is bad but one of this weekend I’m off I would replace it and the car running on limp mode for that reason

Thanks for the support 🤝🤝 yes correct if you get a j32a2 and you own a v6 model accord and converting to manual you can use same harness and just immobilized your ecu
@@cesarsj5698 unbelievable how easy of a swap this is and NOBODY does it. Literally nobody cares about this model accord! I can get v6 with blown transmissions for $1000 or less! As far as the shift linkage, did you use an accord shift linkage and is that also plug and play? Could you use an Acura TL linkage? I like the h22a , F20B , h23a, I literally had no idea this was a thing , the v6 model is a throw away to a lot of people
@@ForzaPulls all the shifts has to be 6 speed not a difficult swap like me I had own my accord for years my transmission blow and got a 2003 cl type s j32 automatic and transmission from a 6 speed 2005 accord bolts in perfect shift from a tl 6 speed and shift cable 2005 accord 6 speed

The car is 6speed manual but ecu is oem automatic ecu and oem wire harness from v6 model and everything works good like if the ecu were manual
