This is what Sonic could be honestly. Sonic Team seems to be taking a step in the right direction including more momentum-based movement in their games but it's just not quite there yet. Hopefully one day they get there.

Although i grew up with the American sound track, The Japan sound track grew on me. Going back to the American sound track makes the game feel a little sluggish imo.

13:40 You actually kinda proved that it does indicate the layer you switch on, the sign is either infront or behind that green gate thing showing with layer you're on. Admittedly most players wont notice it, but it DOES show you.

You talking about the generator in wacky workbench act 1 was so real had to look for a guide and seeing that you had to go inside of that piston made me so frustrated but the music bought me back also i thought you had to get all the time stones and get all the generators to get the good ending glad i know that now if i decide to replay the game and get the good ending again great video!
