The Nature Positive Bill: Allegra Spender's Urge for Greater Transparency 2024
Allegra's amendments to the Nature Positive (Environment Law Amendments and Transitional Provisions) Bill 2024 addressed the inherent lack of transparency throughout this legislation. Amendments (1) and (2) would require that the instruments of delegation are made public so that Australians know which decisions a minister is handing over to the Environmental Protection Agency and which the minister is designating for themselves. These amendments would respond to feedback provided by the environmental community, the business community and experts in environmental law.

Thank you for starting the discussion! What about: * raising GST to cover the removal of payroll tax? * phasing out negative gearing to fund income tax cuts? * replacing stamp duty with a monthly land tax? * using a resource tax to grow a sovereign wealth fund (like Norway) * a national empty property tax

Teals associating with educated aboriginals living in the city is a joke. Going to Mudgee on a wine trip is not visiting a remote area. Every law would affect every aboriginee just as it does the rest of Australians. This means the voice would try and interfere in every law being passed. And that was what Mayo et al and the other Marxists wanted: supreme power over the rest of Australia. He said so: beware any politician who ignores the voice. Mayo Burney Davis Pearson and Langton all said: the voice is the first step to treaty reparations and compensation . The amount of compensation would be a percentage of GDP. Did the Teals not read the 26 page document? The Marxists do not represent real aboriginals just as Teals do not represent real Australians. The best part for the no campaign was when Julian Leeser resigned. This allowed Jacinta Price to be elevated to the position where truth and integrity rose to the top. So TU Leeser...obviously a waste of space as minister for aborignal affairs. Both sides recognised that Jacinta was the key element in this campaign. Her truth and integrity outshone the deliberate no information yes campaign. Do these people understand that we the people have said no...we do not accept this proposal. The left always start name calling and vilifying others when they do not agree with their point of view. This is a very childish approach to argument. The next step is to ignore what the other side has said. ..or make up illogical reasons why the no case is wrong. Even Joe Hildebrand says: you were wrong yes campaign. You made mistakes. You called the no voters racist if you voted against them. You called the no case misinformation when there was no information. Admit you were wrong and let it go. 61% says you were wrong.

Why is it that those who voted yes have so little connection to what ordinary Australians are facing daily...whether they are aboriginal or not? These people appear to vote on a notion: this sounds like a good idea.. without doing any research. It appears that they say yes so they will look good and can say they did the right thing. There just does not seem to be any real explanation of why they would vote yes. I don't believe they really care about anyone outside of their suburbs.

. Aboriginal industry is a multibillion dollar business. The Activists continue to grow and become wealthy on the backs of this small percentage of suffering Australian people. Babies and children are still being removed to this day, due to child neglect, abuse and incest. . A percentage of Aboriginal, People are suffering because the billions spent is not going where it is needed. Where there is Money , Power and Religion, There is always corruption. Most Aboriginal people dislike and have never heard of Mayo or O’brain. Mayo is a Union man and saw the opportunity to promote himself. O’Brain loves to hear his own voice and makes money selling his books on the back of these suppressed people. Rheumatic heart disease is not just an Aboriginal disease, it happens because you don’t get antibiotics. Type 2 diabetes is world wide and is caused by life style choices. Aboriginal ministers know these issues have been known for decades. Not much of the billions obviously has been used to address these issues. These Mentioned are not only a health issue of Aboriginal, they are a world wide common health issues. Low baby births do not only apply to Aboriginal mothers. Stop smoking, drinking, drugs, and whatever other poor life style choices you make . Yes the odd Mother may have a medical condition that is the cause. The Yes campaign are the ones sending fear tactics instead of the truth. Marcia Langton’s story of her upbringing and early life is no different to many many Australians living in outback. Or Australians experiencing poverty, and living in harsh conditions, Some Australian have experienced the most tragic and traumatic conditions, along with Aboriginal people and have Become very successful. I have seen many many houses built and trashed by Aboriginal people. Or they have chosen to move out of their house into there humpy , or families have chose to all live together in one house. Even though it is bursting at the seems. This is still apart of the Aboriginal people choosing one part of their extended family culture . . It does not need money to keep your out back community tidy and clean and respect the land. There are many schools provided in these outback communities. But the children need to turn up. O’Brain none of your information is accurate, or Mayo . Stop the Academic name dropping. You want to enforce law . 1/ deal with wife beating, 2/ tribal violence, 3/ rapes, 4/ enforce the laws of any Australian black, white or brindle with the same force. 5/ remove the children under the same laws as the white children. We cannot force these people to move to where they can receive the facilities. We have tried this in history. The Aunties and Elders living in these communities are not only trying to care for the children and babies that are neglected, but are also trying to get their people to school, educating their people to make better healthy choices, and stop the violence. Many teachers, social workers and medical staff are flown in and out these communities. And in this day and age in some communities they still have a safe house when the violence breaks out and they are picked up and flown out for there own safety . Mayo when you say “your people “, these are not your people you are so far removed . Mayo and O’ brian you want to help these people. Start with getting educated on the real truth telling. This vote had taught me one thing. City and Canberra dwellers are clueless, or looking after their own interest , or just clearly unaware of what is going on.

Would not it be a matter of decency and honour for Anthony Albanese to resign after such a convincing crash of his malignant referendum? I guess, if Anthony Albanese has no personal decency and honour, he would try to cling into prime ministerial position and go against the will of the majority of Australians for the sake of his personal perverted ambitions. I do not suggest that Anthony Albanese should have resigned as Prime Minister just because of the failure of this referendum. The outcome of referendum exposes this Albanese's project as malignantly divisive and politically illiterate and suggests that Anthony Albanese is unlikely hav-ing professional and moral qualities for leading our nation.

How is a request by a tiny minority for special Constitutional rights, a Treaty with no information of what’s to be its subject matter, although ‘sovereignty’ gets aired, then reparations, ‘generous’ ? All the virtue signallers, like O’Brien, get a lovely, inner glow and Albanese claims a legacy, that’s about it.

All these sit down types seem to have enormous amounts of time and resources in a time when most Australians are really doing it tough. All australiand should have a voice and they have....the parliament. This crying out by these types for a minority influence over parliament is offensive to say the least . Watch this video to see how little the Yes have going for it. Julian Leeser opposes a bill of rights in the constitution, opposes anti-racial discrimination clause in the constitution, why? To ensure that these issues remain subject to Parliament by being legislated rather than enshrined in the Constitution, but when it comes to the Voice, he completely backflips and sees no prospect of the Parliament being override by putting the Voice in the Constitution. As for Geoffrey Winters, his only argument is his claim that the Voice will have no effect on anyone in the eastern suburbs of Sydney!! Well Geoffrey, undermining the bedrock liberal principle of no political or civil rights based on ancestry affects us all and is a principle worth fighting for. Interesting that Geoffrey thinks that high indigenous incarceration rates must be because indigenous are not racially predisposed to crime and therefore the criminal justice system has failed, maybe the high rates of incarceration are because of a high incidence of crime due to community dysfunction.

If the voice referendum passes the indigenous peoples of Australia because of their race will be formally and legally entitled to benefit from dual two way representations to Parliament and the Executive Government. When unoriginal Australians will only be entitled to benefit from a singular one way representation to Parliament only. If the referendum passes and legislation enacted to install the Voice becomes a reality the above scenario will surely attract the attention of the Federal Court for a case filed for hearing under Australia’s Racial Discrimination Act. If “yes” voters are thinking that when and if the voice referendum passes that it will be the end of the Voice issue then they will find themselves sadly mistaken because that is when barristers and solicitors will start to play their hands with their contentions. 🇦🇺💯%

It used to be they'd been here for 40,000 years, now 65000 years, although it was claimed recently 70,000 years! However, the Anthropologists report on Mungo Man & Mungo Woman, released in 1994, clearly stated that the skeletal structure of the Mungo man, exhumed from his grave on the banks of Lake Mungo near Balranald NSW, had more in common with a Celt than a modern aborigine! It seems probable that European occupation of Australia was simply descendants of original civilisation returning to their home land!
