(Wait till the end…🥹) This Father’s Day, I want to send a message of hope for those who don’t have someone to send a Father’s Day greeting to. I don’t know what your exact situation is, but maybe like me, you came from a broken home and didn’t have a father figure growing up. It was frustrating to see other kids have both parents and have to explain why I had only one. It was challenging to not have that person to look up to that I know will protect me and be my shoulder to cry on. It was heartbreaking to realize that my parents are also just humans who make mistakes and have shortcomings, and that sometimes, sadly, we children have to bear the consequences too. If you’ve felt any of that at least once in your life, I’m sorry. But I tell you, it doesn’t have to end there. There is healing. There is restoration. There is hope... and His name is Jesus. Through the perfect and final sacrifice of Jesus on the cross for our sins, we are reconciled with God the Father. Our broken relationship with God is restored when we receive His Son Jesus Christ in faith. “But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God,” the Bible tells us in John 1:12. When Jesus became my Savior and Lord, that’s when my heart started to heal. Jesus has been there all along. He filled the void in my soul, gave me new life, and empowered me to forgive even without apologies. When I realized His love for me, I was able to love even when I thought I couldn’t, since I believed I didn’t receive enough of it in the first place. You may not have an earthly father, but you can have a Heavenly Father through Jesus Christ. And once you do, you’ll understand what PERFECT LOVE is. He’s the only One who will never leave you and will always be there for you. He is home. God has been the perfect Father to me. Happy Father’s Day, Abba in heaven! Been really trying, but it's only been getting harder I feel. If there is no one for me I rather get to heaven sooner than later at this point😅🥲 I feel I missed the opportunity with one of my best friends because I was too scared to at the time.

This is my story... God definitely brought me to this video to remind me. I recently learnt this that even when i seem apart and have not been faithful to Him, He always brings me back to Him... Dear friend overwhelmed by uncertainty, I know how it feels. I pray this short letter will encourage you. Going through multiple health issues at the same time, including chronic pain, has opened my eyes to the fragility of life. You may seldom think about it, but you know that our life here on earth has no guarantee. That it is but a vapor, and tomorrow here is not promised. Some people can live with a debilitating disease for years, and some people are perfectly fit until they suddenly drop to the ground. I’m not intending to paint a grim picture, but reality. A reality which I, a young woman of age 25, have been opened to when I asked the question, “What would the scan results show this time?” or “Would this medication actually solve the problem?” or “Will I have to live with chronic pain for the rest of my life?” I’ve faced too many times when I got terrified by uncertainty. But God humbled me enough to get me to surrender to His perfect sovereignty. And when I did, I was delighted to realize a truth that I knew in theory then but am living out now: My security lies in Christ, not in my circumstances. Friend, I don’t know what you’re going through. But I know that any form of sanctification comes with a great cost. If you find yourself anxious, confused, disappointed, discouraged, scared, or exhausted because of your current circumstances, remember this (often misinterpreted) verse in Scripture: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13) It means that you can go through whatever circumstances and trials that life may throw at you, because you have Christ who gives you the strength you need. It also means that you can even find contentment in whatever situation you are in, because your joy is not found in circumstances but IN JESUS. And if you’re dealing with painful uncertainty today, I pray that you can rest by remembering that all your unseens and unknowns have already been in God’s hands even before time began. Yes, in the hands of God who deeply cares for you and has proven His love for you on the cross! And nothing can slip through His fingers. Take a deep breath. Find rest in Christ. Love, Kim ❤️

In my lowest moments, when I was supposed to cling to Christ and believe His Word the most, I fell short. But He still carried me through. The Lord is faithful- even when I was doubting His heart. That’s how I realized that all along, it is HIS faithfulness that gets me through the deepest of valleys, and not my own faithfulness. May this be an encouragement to my fellow Christians that even in times when you feel like you’re doubting, backsliding, covered in shame, distant from God, angry at God, falling short, or everything all at once, you can hold on to these essential truths from the Bible: “And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all those he has given me, but raise them up at the last day.” (Jesus in John 6:39, NIV) “And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.” (Philippians 1:6, ESV) “if we are faithless, he remains faithful- for he cannot deny himself.” (2 Timothy 2:13 ESV) Even if you turn away from the Lord, it won’t last long; He will get you back, because you are His. So when He is calling you again, run back to His open arms at once.
